1st option, don't wait, just contact Apple how long it takes and you are making a trip, ask for help to expedite it.


2nd option,
You got it from Apple online store, in the Iphone 6 thread, forumers mentioned warranty is covered internationally provided it was bought from Apple online store and the country you claiming warranty have the same model stock and is an Apple store, not resellers.

Maybe can try this approach? I never try this, but can try to enquire....
