If I'm not mistaken, you play games on yours? I hardly play any games so maybe there is a difference there.

Anyway, yesterday after charging to 100% at about 11.30pm, I unplug and left it on standby with WiFi on. It's 8.14am now and the battery still shows 100%. thumbup.gif

I hardly play any game yesterday, but the usage was 8hours 40mins+ only. Sigh. Yes it can last me a whole day without any charge. But then I demand for more lol. I barely stream any youtube video as well.

Ha ha, looks like Apple has raised the bar after all the reviews for the 6 Plus. We'll need to manage our expectations now smile.gif

I'm gonna let my battery do a few more cycles before I come to a conclusion. Still too early to tell smile.gif

Hmmm... I didnt know anything about Whatsapp in Android, but if the feature is available in iPhone, i'm a bit sure that it is universal. There is a WhatsApp topic in iPhone's thread here if you wanna check or just get the info faster with uncle google..

yea perhaps it is. before I get my phone been lurking around this thread and see a lot impressive battery life reported. Maybe that's why my expectation goes up lol. I done three times of fully discharge and charge cycle, how is your cycle going to conduct? I am planning to charge at about 20% today for "battery protection" mode. May I know the usage time of your 6 plus dropping from 100% to 99%?

You can just google it. Here what I find:

Follow these steps to set up contact syncing with Google Contacts:

Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account > Other > Add CardDav Account.
Enter the following information in the fields:
Server: google.com
User Name: Enter your full Google email address
Password: Your Google account password
Select Next at the top of the screen to complete the setup.
After you have completed the setup, open the Contacts app on your device. Syncing should begin automatically.

Additional Information
Note: Make sure that SSL is enabled (under Advanced settings), and that the port is 443.

My battery has gone into 6 hours at a 73% battery life balance. Although it's not wholly accurate as my car (Nissan Teana) has an iPhone auxiliary system that charges the phone when plugged in to play music.

Still, even when I use my phone for Internet access, playing music, playing games, and taking photos, such a battery life duration is not too bad!

this question has been answered many times few pages back.

its all based on personal preference imo.

ask yourself thse questions

do you need OIS for camera filming?

do you do a lot of web browsing?

is battery life important for you?

can you grip a big sized phone?

if all these criteria meets your needs, go for the plus. capacity wise, ignore the 16gb existence just go for 64.

This gonna be very tedious work. So brace yourself.

On your iphone.

Part A:

1. Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
2. Scroll down to "Contacts" section, look for "Default Account"
3. If it stated "iCloud" proceed to Part C.
4. If it stated "on My iPhone", you may need to sync with iCloud because there's no way to export the contact directly from your iphone. Proceed to Part B.

Part B:
1. Go to Settings > iCloud
2. Enable "Contacts". It will notify you that contacts that is manually saved in your iPhone will be merged with iCloud. Proceed to Part C.

Part C:
1. Go to https://www.icloud.com/ in your web browser on your PC/Mac.
2. Select "Contacts" Icon.
3. Select the Contacts that you wanted to export.
4. On the lower left, you'll see a "Setting" icon. Select "Export vCard"
5. You may import it to your Gmail account.

Ok now you got all figure it out, but the next time, what if you wanted to directly add contacts to you gmail account in your iphone without wanting to sync it iCloud?

1. Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
2. Scroll down to "Contacts" section, look for "Default Account"
3. Select Gmail.

So the next time you add new contacts, it will sync to your gmail.

To be honest I didnt use it when it was at 100% coz was sleeping, ha ha. I charged it last night when it was at 20% or so and unplugged it at 100%, which was at 11.30pm or so. I think it dropped to 99% at about 9am.

Anyways, this obsession with battery life ain't good, bro. If your phone lasts a day of use without the inconvenience of having to find a charger or carry around a power bank, then I think it's good enough. Time to enjoy the phone!

Exactly. Frequent check on phone's battery is a painful thing to do. I believe every time you check helps to contribute the battery level to be reduced. laugh.gif
Wait till you use Note 3 which I'm using it now since it was launched in Sept 2013 and the battery is so bad as the days passed. I can only get 2H SOT when I unplugged in the morning at 9.00 a.m. and by the time I reach home at 9.00 p.m., it has 15% or lesser battery juice left. This is bad. Appreciate what you have. laugh.gif

For me, my battery worries stopped the day I abandoned all those messaging apps like Whatsapp, Viber, etc. Whatsapp especially used to drain my battery like a Malaysian politician drains public tax money. Crazy, regardless of what smartphone I use. Now I just use iMessage and Confide (for the private stuff) - no more excessive battery drain, no more that annoying Whatsapp notification sound, and most importantly no more ugly people sending me selfies of themselves and no more "good-hearted" idiots sending me all those stupid motivational videos. biggrin.gif
