Hi all, i just discover about this software "Duet Display" which link from your mac to iOS devices as 2nd monitor.

My initial hunch is it should be lag less due to the wired connection which utilizes the best bandwidth when compared to wireless solution such as AirDisplay or the like.

Will going to test it soon and will report back.

I have tested using ipad 2 (pin connector) and iPhone 5 (lighting connector). iPad 2 is a bit laggy, but perform smooth in iPhone 5.

Any more feedback from all on this? I just purchased a Macbook Pro and I am very keen on using my iPad Air as a 2nd display unit.

True...since its wired, sholuld be better .... But i wonder, how often would we use it .... On the go, yes, but ...

Thanks to this thread, I decided to buy it. Started using Duet at the office and its amazing.

Its fun that I can also use the iPad's touch screen to click on buttons on the extended screen.
