So, this upgrades would make the casing to be fitted with one 120MM fan on the front and 2 120MM fan on the top? blink.gif

Top n front chassis done.

The underside of top panel had to be cut asa well coz the locking mechanism is blocking the fan. B4 cutting the lock mech.

Here's y it needs more ventilation. Look at the Motherboard inside. There's no fan. It's a fanless heatsink system.

attach a 120mm fan onto the heatsink will also improve the cpu cooling. you can try to design the air duct to look more like those car type of air intake on the bonnet.

Nonid lar. Coz with so much air going in n out of the case with those 3x120mm fans shud b more than enuf.

I used CM Silent fans.




Anyway, updates...........................


Here's the top panel with the plastic layer installed. Can u c the double layers in this pix. It's so so so difficult to get the measurements n cutting it just right so that the holes on both layers align nicely.

Installed the fans on top panel. Now u can understand y I had to cut the locking mech underneath in the previous pix.

Quick simple project is done. The Mac no longer overheats n is nice n stable now.
