may be some of you guys might be interested in it.

there are 16 grade in police force in malaysia, from the lowest grade of lance koperal, till the highest of police jeneral.
inspector is somewhere at the 6th of the police grade pyramit, higher than major sergeant.

it says you start off with inspector straight away if you got a degree in any field. not too sure about the salary, but you got loads of allowances for sure.

it might be a good move to encourage more chinese and professional to take part in the police force.

back then when degree holder started the force as a cadet asp is more inviting ... but now ...

pay diff of RM700 ... between the cadet asp and inspector ...

for th inspector, the salary starts at RM1095, and the Cadet ASP starts at RM6

but got tons of incentives la ... i think incentives alone also bout 7 - 800 already ...

excluding those "fringe" benefits la ...

FYI, u have to undergo training for 2 years before u can be an inspector.The 2 years ain't easy..
