I got an X550 as in my sig. Max stable is 485MHz core speed and 300MHz ram speed (600MHz effective). Suspect core can't do higher due to insufficient voltage.

with tht setting how much ur 3dmark score?
mind to share with me bro..if u ever benchmark ur gc..lol
wht is ur default core & memory speed?

Default 400/500 i think. Can't remember
No bench yet....but i think it's around 3k+....

6th on FM approved list for X550

no-CPU overclock though.. only GPU

btw.. wat ur brand??.. interested to benchmark my stock card... ati radeon x550 ddr2...

what's your pc full spec? cause i heard that 3dmark03 is much affectable by processor,i had a X550 256mb ddr2,and pentiumD805@2.66ghz,my score was around 4500 without OC,stock clock should b 400/400 or 400/500

to set the core&mem clock this high...did u change ur stock gpu cooling to a better one?

no... do mods at all.. just use atitool to push the clocks higher thats all

i have no idea why my card detected as X600. it's act X550. i bought this card together with my full system at pcdepot, penang. the sale person said to me tht he upgraded my card to X600. at tht time i didn't even bother bout tht. so, i didn't asked for more detail. mybe he flashed the bios.

how to flash the bios....

Chaintech bcos it's a true 24bit soundcard. (even audigy 2 isn't). But the disadvantage is it's good for 2.1 only. Not good enough for surround. U need Audiotrak soundcard for that.
