u can find ur answers over there...

in short, yes the can resole ur shoes thou u need to send ur shoes to the appointed timberland shop (one i know is at midvalley timberland) and they will see if its fixable or not. this will take around 1 week(?) and will give u the total estimation if im not mistaken. let say if its fixable then u need 3 weeks for them to resole/repair the shoes.

i did ask about it last time and this was the answer i was given. hope it helps

I did asked them once, if not mistaken at Sunway Pyramid store. They said my shoe is not fixable. Also ask some shoe repair shop inside Sunway Pyramid also. He also said the same thing, he said if repair the sole also will not be the same.

I bought from oversea, not malaysia.

Anyone else?

depends on what kind of vibram sole u wanted to use. i have a boot using vibram 420 sole and its build like a tank. oil resistant too...

original timberland sole uses recycle stuff. i guess the only way u want a sole from timberland is from timberland.

however the question is, would u willing to repair the shoes that's going to endup feeling different from the last time u wearing it?

i asked timberland in one utama also, they said my earthkeepers cannot be resoled like original.
they said it'll be just as good as going to a street side cobbler and using one of their soles.

I went to Midvalley Timberland yesterday and ask the same question again. The friendly store manager intro me to their "appointed" cobbler.

Below are the contact:-

Speedy Cobbler
Lot K1, Level LG, Pandan Kapital,
Jalan Pandan Utama, Pandan Indah,
55106, Kuala Lumpur.

Mr. Fong - 012 - 287 7968

Anyone tried their "cobbler" service before?

i think the best way to make ur boot/shoes last longer is to rotate them... i have 4 pairs of shoes and boots i rotate every day. i'll say my timberland shoes will last longer this way rather than using it everyday lol...

Hardly wear few mileage on boots naturally less wear on sole thus lasting longer.

Qns is how to make shoes last longer without reducing mileage? Say after 1k miles sole worn out usually, what can be done to extend life of sole even after putting same mileage on it?

Wear and tear on rubber really physics, I don't see really a way to prolong life
