World of Tanks Blitz

In May 2013, Wargaming announced World of Tanks Blitz, a mobile version of World of Tanks for tablets and smartphones using Android and iOS. The game will allow 7v7 battles.

It was released on 27 June 2014 for iOS devices.

It was released on 4 December 2014 for Android worldwide.

for those new to the game, I recommend this guy (he's a forummer on WoT Blitz Asia forums). I've personally learnt a lot from him, skills such as flanking, side-scrapping, angling, scouting etc are all taught in his videos (prev he was hardcore in PC WoT, and now switched to Blitz):

imo this is the best non Pay to Win game on apps store and Android store right now.

it's all about the MP and grinding to unlock better tanks

so far I have unlocked most of the Tier 8 tanks. working my way towards to Tier IX.

3.5GB after install.. make sure you have that oh else need to start all over.

but it's really worth it la.. no other mobile game i've played this long and poured in real $$ as much as this.

My list of tanks so far:





Account ID: BWSan (used wife's ipad to register last time... expensive to change the username so i left it as it is).

this collection took me mths to arrive at (u might be even faster if hardcore farm) ... so dont be dismayed. just keep persists and play it on and off.. will definitely get your tanks upgraded one by one. Oh and premium account helps a lot too.. wait for a sales before deciding to buy that.

Premium tanks help in earning fast credits. IS6 is the best now. Actually have 1 also enough already. Best is a Tier 8 premium those below it are not worthwhile as your normal credit tanks will exceed its earning capacity past Tier 6-7. T34 Tier 8 US prem tank is worth it too.. just that once you meet Tier X (they are Top tier tanks with superpower guns + armor) .. v fast GG coz no dedicated matchmaking like how IS6 has (IS6 the most meet up to Tier 9 tanks during matchmaking).

haha yea.. gotta motivate myself to farm/grind more xp/credits.

each time i see the XP remaining before reaching Tier IX i will "sigh"... hard to motivate to grind it everyday. Hope i can be more hardworking after this.

Yea can see in battlefield how Tier 9 and 10 pawns everyone else... lol

i play mostly on home Unifi.. no issues for me.

just that ever since worldwide release to Android, sometimes when a lot of tanks at one place easy to have lag spike. Other than that it's fine. Hope future updates will address this.. other ppl got complain already.

Auto Target u can switch off if lets say you're aiming a fast tank zipping back and forth... just press on the "A" on the left side (grey it out).. it will become manual target in that mode (zoom or normal view). press back A to become green to enable auto target.

on my way to getting E75 German heavy, Tier IX. Hehe.. another 10k xp and 1million credits and will be able to unlock it

i'm a big fan and supporter of this game.. reason is it is truly friendly even to those that don't use real money..

don't wanna buy premium tanks? use KV1S to farm for credits.

dont wanna buy premium account? then play more and u will get there.

Btw I did buy both coz I feel it's worth it (usually buy during sales).. I have 3 premium tank Tier 8 so it's easier to farm for credits.

spent a lot on this game but I don't feel it's a waste. complex yet at same time simple and fun.

this game don't have crew system like WoT PC.. but got perks la.. and tanks gain XP also.. the higher the XP % .. the easier to use the tank.. faster reload, aim time, movement speed etc.

Germany Tier IX and X strongest in game for Heavy and Medium tho. Very awesome ammo piercing powerhh + damage.. downside is weak Tier 6 and 7 for both tanks.

Briton medium will fair terrible once reach Tier IX and X. Earlier one Tier 1-8 is one of the best light/medium in game.

Russia.. all the way power for heavy.. till reach Tier IX and X will fallout also. Oh their medium is the best in game. T-54 is a beast - can just autolock on a tank and its turret will keep following the aim.. it is that fast (turret movement).. move speed also fast.

As for TD they are almost similar.. US TD Tier IX is a walking monster.. front armor almost impenetrable T95. German TD best piercing once again.. (Tier 7 TD hard to use). Russia TD is more to firepower .. yet slow reload speed.. quite all rounder.

yeah so when u wanna advance in game gotta consider all these also. Reaching Tier 8 is easy for all tanks - the most take half a year.. after that you gotta choose properly which to advance to for Tier IX. one tank costs 150k XP +/- and upgrade costs around 3.5 million credits. Gotta be very patient when reach here. Tier 8 often pair with other strong Tier 8s and sometimes Tier 9 also.

my word of advice for beginners.. don't try to level all of them at one go (i tried that before almost lost my sanity LOL)... choose like 3-4 tanks the most to level up per day... then once bored switch to other 3-4 tanks.

farm using KV-1S Tier 6 is the most efficient non premium tank.

it can farm average 30k credits per match without premium account. It's alpha damage and front armor is what makes it the best candidate $$ farming tank

if you wanna donate to help out the game.. get premium tank Tier VIII, IS-6 USD25+ but worth every cent.. been using it to farm credits ever since I've got it. Average a game can farm 50k to 100k credits ... and it's really fast due to its nice move speed and high alpha damage.

Around 2.5 gb free space. At least 2 gb ram. The faster the processor the better too.

For ios at least iphone 5s. Ipad minimum ipad 2. Ipad mini not so smooth.

I'm using huawei honor 6 and ipad 2. Both can play the game well. Both using same account (play one at a time).

New patch is out! New TD branch for American tanks! Rotating turret TDs awesommee so gonna get them..

my Tier 9 E75.. fuuu.. took me quite a long time to reach here (kinda playing casually):

that new Tier X gun really helps to clear things fast when the team is performing

Yea it is damn good.. especially if u love tanks.. but these days i busy with Marvel Future Fight... that game alone take up all my time lol..

Will come back to this one day surely.. this game always has a place in my list.

I play with Honor 6, and iPad 2. Both smooth. I prefer iPad coz widescreen easy to see, aim and control. Android harder coz my thumbs big haha that alone cover so much screen liao.. srsly get a iPad and play this game.. u will love it.. Or a fast Android tablet.. Not advisable on iPad Mini as I heard it might lag abit.. due to performance issues.

yeah it is quite a complicated Tank game really.. lots of realism to it.. how the ammos penetrate and how the armors deflect shots are all calculated in detail..

np.. after watching most of his videos these days i easily reach top of the results table after every battle.. only some battles die easy either due to unexpected ambush/gangbang or some silly mistake

if play careful and daring when needed... with the right angling and positioning (and cheongster when needed).. can take down others more easily and survive longer in game.. end up get more score after battle complete.

I quit the game already.. Marvel Future Fight take up all my time already, no time for other games.

I don't mind supporting the devs as long I don't go broke coz of it lol. I don't believe in playing for free and taking things for granted in any game.
