Hi guys/girls , just got my preve 2 days back 

Just wondering, do you all face a problem where the power window controller feels like it about to come out as soon as u wind the driver side window up to the max?

My power window controller is a little bit poke up (obvious feeling when winding the window up), is this normal?

Mine also having the same issue, just feel a little bit pop up.
So far (half year already) still ok...
would like to know if any solution for this also.

Guess everyone having this issue.. Hopefully it doesn't affect anything

Erm... my worry is will the spring damage the boot lock.
Wonder will use 2 spring together will last longer. 7 months is quite fast.

hehe the door panel issue actually quite ok for me, since everyone having same problem then just left it there.
Enjoyed enough to drive Preve. Waiting Proton to launch face lift or other C or D segment car for 2nd car.

bro, its your left rear seat. try to 'play' drop down with your left rear seat. Me too got the same 'krak krak' before, but completely disappear.

I called up proton COE shah alam to make appointment for the first 1k mileage mark, but it seems that its fully booked until 10th of April..    What should i do? i need the car for daily usage, hitting 1.2k km soon

It is confirmed that Petronas fuel is causing knocking sound from the engine on my Preve Turbo with a slight loss in power.

I have been using Caltex throughout the whole year now, occasionally Shell if I happen to run out of fuel and Caltex station is not nearby. No knocking sound and acceleration power is good. Just earlier this week the car was running out of fuel and I decided to give Petronas a try although I knew I had bad experience before and vowed never to use Petronas Primax again. But somehow I wanted to test if it's really the fuel. At first, there seemed to be no difference. But after half tank, I began to notice the knocking sound coupled by a slight loss of acceleration power. The engine also sounded a bit rough, not as smooth.

Did any of you guys use Petronas Primax, especially Preve Turbo owners. I would like to know your experience.

After having this repeated experience, I will surely ban Petronas for good now. My other car, the Ford Focus does not seem to have problem with Petronas (no engine knocking sound) but I chose to use Caltex for all my cars.

sorry no offense everyone, just my personal point of view. if you are doing sales driving around short distance and full city driving, i'm afraid preve not the right choice for you due to its FC. unless you are doing long distance traveling on the highway then it will be a very enjoyable ride.

however i do feel regret a bit not getting premium cfe last year. but again the maintenance cost for premium cfe also not cheap

The mainly different is the plug.

I made an easy access by taking off the power steering fluid reservoir.. Still, abit hard..
Anyway, just a question.. Since i rarely use my car, only done like 3-4K KM for the last 6 months, is it ok if u just dump in the semi synthetic engine oil with service interval of 6 months? I know proton suggest mineral oil for 10K KM interval. Anyone here doing that?
