I see.. is that for any plug and play camera or depends on the type?
*
All will be same.. Just need a connector for Preve HU only.. That one cost 40-50 ady..

QUOTE(fcwj @ Dec 29 2014, 04:42 PM)
I got my elegant brown preve yesterday. Can any sifu answer me? When it is about 110-120km/h, the steering start to shake, and i press brake, i heard a loud sound which I not sure where the sound came from.
*
Steering shaking meaning your tyre balancing not balanced.. Go tyre shop do your balancing and alignment. Each balancing rm5. Total won't exceed rm50

Braking got sounds probably disc rotor not flat.. Go service centre claim new one..

i thought u already change SA?
*
Yes, already in the process of changing the SA, waiting for approval from Bank. But suddently the old SA said they already got the Red colour car, and I ask the bank to cancel the process of changing SA... And after found out they actually don't have the car, I be like furious, to everyone from the dealer. And this time, I will cancel everything for good. Will be waiting for new proton deal on January. If there isn't any, will wait until chinese new year sale.

If you can get loan approved for Preve, you can get loan approved for City. Why not go for that. You are not really "forced" to buy Preve due to price. In fact in Suprima club (FB) there was one guy whose loan was approved for City, but not Suprima. Loan for non-natioanal cars also have lower interest.

City is a B-Segment Car, Preve is C-Segment Car. While the price of top spec of city is RM20k more than Preve, City can only win againts Preve is by the quality of the car made. So why should I choose City again?

Aiya, just got yesterday, already got that problem ka?  vmad.gif, Protong quality is so out laa...  I think better send to SC.. The only reason I choose to buy preve is because the value for money againts other car that I can afford..  cry.gif

If you are going to keep bringing up the "forced to buy Proton" it is better if you buy the City. It is easier to get loan approved for City. There are many loan defaulters in national cars compared to non-national cars. Loan for national cars are considered more risky (for banks) thus the higher interest and lower approval rate.

If only quality is the issue, I can live with that. Proton will give 3 years (if not mistaken will be add another 2 years) of warranty, so not much of a budget issue there if always got problem. This preve will be my 2nd car, and will only use it for family trip and long distance trip. I won't be using it daily because I use motorcycle to go to work from s.alam to KL due to traffic. So, thats why quality issue is not my biggest concern.

Actually, if you read carefully, my only issue here, is the colour of the car that I want have no stock anymore. And the biggest issue I have is with the SA lying me telling they have that colour in stock, but actually they don't.

approval rate lower? are u doing in hire purchase department? i feel approval rate is depend on customer's documents.. no such things that national and non-national cars got different approval rate. different interest rate = yes.

Actually, all the quality issue I heard from preve's owner will not jeopordize the safety of the driver/passanger. Mostly is small issue, not related to safety. And the fact that Preve got 5 star ANCAP, is the thing that won my heart to buy this car.

From Iriz, Preve & Suprima FB. There are a few guys who work with hire purchase loans. Approval rate of loans from Proton loans of RM60k and above is only 50%.

As I said, there was one guy in Suprima FB who had his loan for City V spec approved. Whilst his loan for Suprima was pending. The bank requested many documents, basically making it hard to approve the loan, short of getting a guarantor. His loan for the City on the other hand was a breeze. Give all the usual documents, in 1 week his loan was approved.

Learn something new today.

Did not know that banks have different criteria depending on whether it is locally made or imported cars.

What I gather here, banks are not in favour of giving loans to local cars.

Wonder why.

Because the percentage of defaulter is higher for national cars. Banks do it based on the historical data. They don't do it out of the blue. It makes sense when you consider those who buy Kancil, Viva, Myvi, Saga etc. Many of the defaulters are fresh grads just gotten a job. Those who have worked for some while, have a stable income tend to go for non-national cars (upgrading from their national cars), hence their default rate is lower.

Actually why the approval rate is high on foreign car againts local car, is because most of people who definately can afford to buy a car will go for foreign car, and people who between the line afford/not afford (due to any reason), will go for local car due to its low price. there is no such thing as bank favourable to approve foreign car rather than local car. Everything is up to how good your financial is. whistling.gif

The banks do view national cars as more risky compared to non national cars. That's why you get loan easily approved for City instead of Suprima, which happened to the same person.

The fact that he said go for bank approved his honda, meaning he applied for different bank.. different bank have different approval process. Even same bank different branch may approve faster/later depending on the approver and the officer work rate.. I bet, if he apply for supprima at the bank approved his honda, the loan will be approve as fast as his honda. Unless he said he apply both car at the same time and the same bank, then your point is valid..
