oh if latest already still vibrate hard? i really seldom can feel vibration oledi oh.. especially during idle.. last time old mounting really vibrate like osim when idle.
*

I claim a set of new mounting a year and a half ago, come 1-2 weeks later for my 80k service, i am going to claim my 2nd set.

The whole car is vibrating right now, can feel on floor, seat, door cut, nearly everything. Amplifying the rattling of the car, it really feels like a 7 years old car.

the warranty of mounting for my car will expire on September (mounting they only cover for 3 years), die die must claim dapat.

Last week just receive claimed fan and wire harness.

There are only 100 official Preve LE. Sold out long ago.

Once can still manually build his LE if he has the cash to splurge. Get 2014 and newer Preve CFE for the 6 airbags, electronic assistant brake vacuum and VT3+ transmission. Then change the rims, add the original R3 bodykit made of ABS material, and finally change the interior trims to leather. The leather trims are most costly in this conversion, and hence why little to none tried to make their Preve an LE specs.

And that with bodykits you'd be extremely worried about scraping it when going to shopping mall car parks brows.gif

After driving my LE so long, I have found the way to drive it around. Just have to ignore about the car behind and come to a stop upon a ramp. There are some parkings that cannot enter, then just don't enter.

When I just got my Racechip, I thought it's just a small but unnecessary addition. After half a year, took it apart to change the tune from D-0 to 0-0, the dynamic feeling of the car is amazing. You can feel the liveliness of the car even I had no other modifications on the car to support the increase of boost. If you have potato chip as well, give it a try!
*
I've the RC response control and the boost spring+AFPR done as well. Used to try different setting of the RC every other week but got kinda lazy and have been on 0-0 ever since. Good balance btw saving petrol & power drive.

Recently I've noticed there's condensation under the floor mats of driver side seat and the backseat behind the driver side (both at the right hand side of the car). Whereas the left hand sided seats' floor mats are dry.

This causes the floor under the floor mats to grow fungus. Anybody has this problem before? Wonder what is causing the weird condensation pattern.

The gasket is actually the piece of washer used together with the drain bolt of the oil pan. Usually it can still be reused 2 or 3 times, but since it is not an expensive item, the SC will usually replace it during the oil change service.

Hi Guys

Just got my preve yesterday,
Problems

1. Rattling sound (sounds like mounting problem)
2.Blaupunkt HU micro sim slot does not detect the micro sin card (navigation does not work)
3 LH speaker sounds more louder than the rest

Really hope proton can solve all these issues...
Furthermore its a May 2015 model
*
same problem for #3.
complained at Seremban SC, they will ask Blaupunkt technician to come.

been waiting for 2months, still no update.
End up, i have get used to it as it still acceptable and afraid it will produce another problem.

Thanks.

I going to COSE this Thursday.

Seems like my CVT gear have some issue now.

is been "fun" and been quiet sometime. Speed is good.
Suddenly last three weeks ago. experience of the gear slip motion.

As if even if I floor down the car hard to propel forward. With lots of vibration as if the CVT slip motion.

I have a lot of car going to die off or die off completely if I park my car downhill want to reverse have problem.

Don't push too much on the CVT gear. too much pushing. too much 5.5k rpm will cause your cvt gear have problem.

mine is Apr 2012 unit. the first batch of 1070 units.

This picture shows a gear icon as fault light. Note that I park my car and I have already switch to P but after a while it turns to N. without even I switch the lever to N.

and the video down below shows that I try to switch between the gear eventually the icon gone.

until now the icon gone. but still have problem when want to reverse from a downhill. or when idling press accelerator a bit the car as if want to die off. and when press maximum the accelerator especially reaching 4k~5k rpm it slips and the car no longer propel as if it was in N.

Can I at least expect a 10% increase in overall power across the rpm range? (the stated 20% is way too awesome to be believed, though I would love to be wrong)

Thanks for sharing.

My local SC called and asked me to make appointment for wire harness change, seems like they finally admit that it was a problem and did a recall.

If just Racechip alone, can't get 10% increase; at least I don't feel it is that much.

It needs more tuning on fuel and the ability to hold the boost all the way to high RPM, to get that much of improvement. Means more parts.

The SC forced me to change although my harness was perfectly fine.

I was actually a little irritated. Lol...

Seems like the petrol in the tank of your car is going dry? Maybe that was the reason of the problem?

A bit curious on the claimed vibration of the car. Maybe your car has hit a very high mileage at almost 80,000km now, and that may explain that the engine mountings are worn and need replacement.

The mileage on my car is now at around 32,000km and there is no vibration issue. Only the (loud) droning sound from the CVT during acceleration that I experience with the car but I have learnt to live with that.

I changed myself, twice. First time, very difficult. Second time, done in 3 minutes.

Be sure to put the tabs back into the correct position or the light will focus wrongly. Worse case, a melted headlamp cover. A correct focus should see 'mata kucing' pattern on headlamp cover.

Yup, but so to speak as an average, the mounting of Preve has a very short service life, well at least base on the previous experience of my other car.
For my car, 1st set from factory was replaced on 30k KM, 2nd claim set at 60K,

now i am going to my 3rd set.

One set per year is too fast irregardless of the milage.

My gearbox is replaced at 12k KM. Front seat, fan, wire harness, gearknob, handbrake lever. Good thing about Proton is all claim is valid even though there is minor mod on my car.

Come 5 years when the warranty had expired, i am done with Proton.

Preve is an excellent concept and idea, but very poor in execution.
