yea.. see how you discuss with sc.. i had installed reverse camera, and they knew it.. ask me how much i done.. i told them.. they understand it then no problem for warranty claim cause i just extra plug in a socket into HU.. they understand we hardly to observe rear view when reversing. actually im quite satisfy with proton sc in autocity, at least the supervisor and manager try to do their best.. just a lot of proton car doing service.. so might need to wait only.. im ok to wait.. so far my preve 2014 July didnt give me major problem..

Installing the reverse camera the correct way shall not affect the warranty (even it does, it just small portion of the engine wire hardness).

Wire hardness warranty usually void if u temper the wiring.

There are two proper ways to install reverse camera, the first one is to purchase a reverse camera with plug n play socket and input into the rear portion of the stock HU. The 2nd option is to "tap" the reverse camera wire on the stock HU wiring cable (need installer with proper skill to do that).

The wrong method would be? Cut the wire and connect the reverse camera to it, lousy installer I must say.

With socket method, I'm pretty sure warranty will intact.
If you are worried, remove the reverse camera if you intend to claim warranty for wire hardness. It will not void your any other parts warranty.

Yes the firewall need to remove the dashboard.

Took whole day to do the firewall and fenders.

But it's worth it.

Next move is to change to a quieter tire and it's good to go.

I would say a 3 grand is good for the sound proof (including tires) cos there's a significant difference in the refinement, solidness and overall quietness of the cabin and ride compared to stock.

My car haven pass 30K km oso.. and yeah, the pricing is not inclusive of labor..
it is already shown in FB that some of them fill up more than 50L.. some even up to 55L if i recall correctly.

When I get the car for first time, the fuel indicator is blinking and show I only have 30km or so for travel distance. I fill up full tank and reach 51.xxx liter.

personally, i never tried more than that.. even what i feel like filling to the brim, the 1st bar of petrol indicator will only go off after more than 150km.. (i drive like uncle)
