This one very old story already. That house been abandon very long. I have asked people about it there a story.

Back then, there is a doctor and wife staying in that house one day the doctor wife was murdered. There was the maid and gardener. Suspect was the husband, maid and gardener.

They found her slit her head until nearly come out. Sure the primary suspect was the doctor.

Eventually they find out the husband was the murderer.

An indian family move in 1 month later the house was abandon

usually stayed for late night movies which ends around 12-1am, quite a number of workers doing renovation. nothing special.
the only thing creepy is taking the canopy walk to the college alone.
or if the gate close, will have to take a longer route which is to pass by the workshops/shophouses and apartments, not scared of ghost but scared kena rob.

This may not qualified as a ghost story but its kind of strange. This happen to my sister-in-laws mother (mother-in-law). She is a very old lady and was ver frail before her passing. She can only lay in the bed not moving. Was in this stage for a very long time.

Seeing her in such a stage for do long, one day her mother-in-law's daughter went to see a medium. After checking, the medium told the daughter that her mother supposed to hv passed on. But the daughter told the medium her mother is still alive @ the old house, only thing is she is too frail to move. Then the medium gv her some praying paper and told her to burn them outside the house.

So she went back to her mother's house and burn the praying paper outside. Some moment later, her mother passed away.

I heard some story before means the mother already passed on the thing in the body is not the mother but something else.

QUOTE(Amuro_Ray @ Dec 17 2014, 04:54 PM)
"saw" it once during my childhood, but i would describe mine is not shadowy but figure in black color.
i was busy playing with my toys then suddenly out of nowhere saw it (long hair, can't recall if i saw the face) went into my sister room.
Out of curiosity i quickly follow into the room to check it out but there was nothing there....

kinda curious because people can categorize these spirits, black is most normal and will not disturb you at all.
Then there is shadowy white ones (these one is my sister usually saw, she always encountered it during her teens) which occasional try to contact/disturb you.
Then the furious one which is red, these thing will try to take your life, sometimes accompany by a few whites as well. Most people saw the red ones are in highway or roadside, so beware.

To those unbelievers, if you alone in the house, try to take a cold bath and then comb your hair to fully cover your forehead. (this is to weaken your spiritual energy) .

then about 12am, lit white candles around your living hall and go to sleep. White candles normally attract these spirits.

then post here is anything interesting happens  brows.gif
*
Actually if u can see this things you don't let them know you know they are there they won't disturb you.

my curiousity some people said they look like ordinary people but the things they do very abnormal. Facing the wall. Walking facing down. Is it true?

another question if the ghost is let say chinese. You use Christian method does it work?

This happened back in 2002/2003

went to First World with my then gf n we stayed in d smallest room possible LOL

it was a weekday but school holidays that time so it was kinda pack.

i recall that the rooms around us were occupied except the one on our right.

around 12am there were some knocking at around head level. it was annoying as the bed's head board was feeling the vibration fr the knocking. we tot it were kids who's family checked in late.

slowly the knocking got stronger n higher. up until almost ceiling level. i knew it wasn't kids already. den d knocking went erratic. went all over the wall.

i could not sleep but my gf was already asleep and did not notice a thing. she found me in the toilet around 3am smoking LOL.

around 4am the knocking stopped.

This story came from someone close to me. She studied for over 3 years at UiTM(then ITM) Manjung campus - the old one before they moved to Sri Iskandar. Up to you to judge if it's genuine or not, but this is supposed to be a true story.

Z shares dorm room with two girls in the same course, X and Y. X absolutely did not believe in ghosts, although she can be too outspoken about it. Y came from rural family, supposedly with some dark history.

Z could not remember how it happened, but one morning, their conversation drifted into the subject of 'hantu raya'. Y disclosed hearsays about some in her family having kept such creature to do his bidding, which is typical old Malay folk story. X disrespectfully cut into Y and boldly proclaim that she would "want one Hantu Raya for herself".

Everything went on as usual for the rest of the day. Later that midnight, Z went back to her dorm alone after studying with other friends in the studio. She took a quick bath and was going to go to sleep when she heard knocking from the door downstairs(most of the buildings there were former 2-storey shop lots, with top floor converted to dormitories). When she went down to open the door, she saw X standing in front of the doorframe with a really pale face. Z asked X what went wrong, but there was no reply. X simply went upstairs slowly and entered their room and laid herself on her bed, which was next to Z.

Z was upset at first with X, but she figured that they were both tired from late night studies so she chose not to say another word. She then went back to her bed.

She could not sleep well though. X kept producing weird sounds(I don't know what kind. that was how I was told) that made it hard for Z to close her eyes. She stole a peek at X, and saw her all covered up in white sheet, laying perfectly on her bed, as if she was a corpse awaiting burial. Z could feel chill running up her spine, but her fatigue eventually got too much that she fell asleep anyway.

Several hours have passed since then, and Z soon heard more knockings downstairs. When she went to open the door, she was surprised to see X standing in front of her. Z was going to ask her where did she go out too after coming back, but Z could still see X on her bed before she went down, or at least what she thought was X. Z's legs became weak, and she collapsed against the wall, with eyes wide open and cold sweat breaking up from her face.

X, who was wondering what went wrong, went up to their room. Z never knew what X saw that night; all she heard was X's blood-curdling scream which woke all the girls in the entire block up and alerted the security guards at the compound entrance.

Y later revealed that "a hantu raya went to seek X because X has become its master".

At first I would like you to forgive me for my english, I'm actually from Malaysia. A few years back, around 1989 (I was 12 years old, now 30) I was living in my dad's house (office, later was converted to a house). The house was owned by his boss. This incident happened on saturday evening about 2:00pm. My house doesn't have water supply. Thus, we need to get the water from the factory nearby. It's about 800m from the factory to my house. It's always a headache for us to pick the water from bucket and have to walk about 800m every time we need the water. My parent decided to used a plastic hose. We fixed the hose to the factory water tap and to my house to get the water. This is how we used to have water supply. On the particular day, first my mom went alone to the factory. She returned home and expected to get the water from the hose. It's was not coming and my mom thought there was some leaking in somewhere. She insisted that me and my sister go and investigate why we didn't get the water supply, even when she turned on the pipe tap.

We were lazy. We used our bicycles instead to go to the place (the place was always scary and behind my house is a muslim cemetery). While we were riding, we saw a woman dressed in indian costume standing near the big tree and there is a wide drain in between the factory and the tree. We are the only indian living there and no way any human being can enter that place as it was a very bushy area.

She looked very beautiful and standing at the corner of the office (just beside the factory). We were stunned. We slammed out our bicycle and ran all the way to home. We told our mom what happened. She was speechless and she also had gone through similar experiences when she entered to the factory. She heard someone calling ma.. ma.. maaa... (mom) in a male voice.

This is very very true story. I swear upon God that I saw that a young woman standing there. I never believed in ghost, from this incident onwards I started believed in ghost and the strange happenings.

My other encounter was when I saw an very old and unusual tall man walking about 500 meters in front of me. I was on the way back from the temple. The time was about 2:00am, we had special prayers on the day and the temple is just walking distance.

Another one happened in the house I'm living now. Also considered as haunted, I always heard some noises in the middle of night. My dog keeping barking unconditionally at night and and I saw white smoke around my kitchen.

Yesterday, I was in the bathroom taking a shower. Suddenly, my bathroom door was pulled by someone (it's nearly open). I was stunned. I grabbed my clothes and I screamed at my niece for pranking me. But she was in my living room playing with her little doll. No one at home. Only me and she.

Ghosts exist. We can feel their existence. But they are not so strong as OUR BELOVED GOD. Trust him. Be brave when you happens to encounter such incident. Again forgave me for my english. Have nice day!

An amazing life experience which is unforgettable. A hair raising tale of the past.

My dad and mum were looking frantically for a home in Ipoh as our house in Penang was about to be sold in a few days time. I was studying in Kuala Lumpur at that time and I joined the search with them as my sister was in India for her studies.

After going around Ipoh Town for hours, finally our agent brought us to a house which was situated at Ipoh Garden South. The compound of the house looked small but when we entered the house, it was really big and spacious. Mum and Dad were extremely happy with the house and immediately offered to buy the house form the seller, a Chinese Merchant. He told us that he have renovated the home for his son who was studying in the USA and since his son did not return home and decided to work in USA, the old merchant decided to sell the house.

We signed the Agreement within a few weeks, paid cash and shifted in. Mum and dad shifted in all by themselves as I was having my exams and was unable to assist them. The seller told mum and dad not to remove the mirrors placed in the rooms upstairs in the house as how he has placed them because of Fengshui.

Mum and dad cleaned up the house all by themselves and found lots of candle wax all around the balcony. Our neighbours have told my parents that the previous owners used to have special prayers upstairs and burned a lot of candles. My parents never took note of that as everybody have their own beliefs.

After my exams, I went back home as mum said that she needed to have a house warming prayer. The said prayer was only among ourselves, we did not invite a priest or anyone to do the prayers. You see mum and dad are very pious [holy] people and hence, they conducted the prayers by themselves. As following the Hindu customs, "we are to invite God" that we worshipped from our earlier home to the present home by serving the sweet rice, lighting incense sticks and put samburani-means a kind of holy substance dropped on the burnt charcoal which forms smoke with fragrance purifying the whole house.

So, mum prepared the sweet rice and dad lighted the altar [prayer room] and I was helping dad to put flowers on the pictures of Gods, then I heard mum saying it is time to pray and she called me to take the cooked sweet rice upstairs where the altar was. I ran down and then I was about to carry the rice when all the lights in the house went off. I heard father calling from upstairs and I ran to the main electric supplies thinking the wires would have tripped but unfortunately there was no electricity in my house alone! There was an eerie feeling felt by all three of us but we said nothing to each other, only at a later date.

Mum gave me some candles to be carried upstairs and I ran up and gave father and was coming back down the stairs and someone pat on my shoulder hard and I looked back thinking it was father, but father was still in the prayer room. I was so scared and ran down. Mum and dad were very brave individuals, they proceeded with the prayers. We never discussed the event after that day.

I went back to my college to complete my course. It was about two weeks since mum and dad moved in I had a call from the hospital and I was told that dad and mum had met with an accident whereby the motorcycle dad was riding collided with another motorbike. I rushed to the hospital with my husband and was told that mum had a hairline crack on her leg and the doctors told us that she needed ample rest. The fractured leg would heal by itself. Dad had minor injuries, bruises here and there. I came back to Kuala Lumpur the next day as I needed to continue work and mum was also insistent that I returned to KL to attend to the kids. I left with a heavy heart.

A couple of weeks later I returned to Ipoh to check on mum's progress and she told me she is fine. Then it was sometime later at night that she told me something which I was not able to digest... In my thoughts...

She told me that the first few days when she stayed at the new home, she encountered strange noises and saw little black creatures running around the house. Then she adds on this is quiet common because the house was hardly occupied for a few years as told by the neighbours. She told me that she hung a blessed lime in front of the house [it is a believe in the Indian religion that if the fruit turns rotten that there is something evil living in the house] and surprisingly mum told me that the fruit turned rotten. Mum then said she was not bothered with the little black creatures as we are more superior than them.

She then added father was sleeping upstairs alone one night when mum was downstairs and then suddenly he heard some rattling sound and woke up then he saw a white figure which took form of a beautiful Chinese lady against the wall and she told father, "Your daughter is going to get married. Stop her or else she will be crying all her life." Then she disappeared. Dad was stunned and ran downstairs to mum and told her the story.

Then mum also told me that there was a figure of a child in the house too with long black hair moving around almost daily.

Mum and dad were too brave and stayed on in the house. Then the complaints on the house lessened and they were comfortably living in the house for 10 years. We sometimes wondered what happened to all the strange stuffs wandering at our house.

Mum and dad used to stay with me and my sister on and off during the kids' school holidays. Mum stayed with me and my family in KL for the last time when she was 73 years old. She spent almost a month with us and told me that this is her last stay with us. I did not know what she meant by that.

My sister came down to KL from Penang to fetch my mum and dad back home. Mum and dad insisted that they wanted to return home that night itself. Sister strongly told them no but they insisted to drop them off in Ipoh before she left to Penang and she did so.

The next morning I got a call from Dad that mum fell and broke her leg. I rushed to Ipoh Hospital to visit mum. Mum told me she felt that someone or something pushed her down from the back. I was very upset. I went back home and felt eerie but dad said all is OK at home. Mum and dad loved the Ipoh House and does not want to leave the place!

My sister and myself were saddened when mum passed away a year later. On the 16th day from the day of her funeral, we had special prayers at home for mum. As soon as the priest started to chant the holy verses, we heard a loud bang of the door upstairs but no one was there. That night I dreamt mum was dragging away something evil from the house. When mum passed away, dad insisted to stay alone at home and never gave in to any of our persuasion to follow us back to Kuala Lumpur. A few days later dad fell when he climbed on a stool to repair his favourite ancient grandfather's clock. Dad was unable to walk since that incident and his condition became similar to mum. My sister and I immediately transferred dad from the house although he was reluctant to leave and he now stays in Penang with my sister.

The Ipoh house is rented out now and so far there is no complain from the tenant.

We believe that mum has taken away the evil with her from the house and it is now free of the evil spirits, but we will never know what actually happened in the house until today...

THE END

This story happened to me on January 6, 2011. I heard through a mutual friend of a reporter in Penang (neither wishes his name to be revealed) that this reporter had discovered evidence of a crime that had happened in the Cameron Highlands on February 1, 2003. He never told me what this evidence was.

I did manage to find out that on that date, a Chinese family surnnamed Ma had gathered for a New Year reunion and celebration. A few days later their house was found in ruins, and no bodies or any trace of the 17 family members there that night had ever been found. They had all just disappeared. The event happened about 50 kilometers northeast of Taman Tringkap. They were a wealthy family and had built their home in a solitary area on a very large plot of land on a remote hilltop.

My friend told me that, because of the fear of losing tourism and real estate values, the local authorities had covered up the crime. Determined to find out for myself, I did some research and decided to visit the place myself, along with some friends. I discovered rumors that, starting around 1890, a foreign religious cult had flourished in the area and then disappeared, possibly suddenly leaving the area, in 1914. However, records were few and contradictory from that time period because that part to British Malaya was extremely remote and barely inhabited in those days, with not much civilization or communication there at all.

Resolving to find out the truth or falsehood of this story for ourselves, my friends and I drove to the area indicated to me by my friend who knew reporter, where he claimed that he found the ruins of the actual Ma family mansion. After a long drive over many difficult roads, in the late afternoon we finally did find a set of ruins resembling those described by my friend.

We hiked around the property taking photographs and checking out the area. I wandered away from the others to look at the surrounding land, but it was all grown up with vines and weeds, virtually impassable. Suddenly, I ran into a young Chinese girl. There was nothing extraordinary about her, and she didn't seem surprised to see me. I asked where she was from, and she said "From around here." Then, she told me that my friends and I should leave this place as soon as we could, that it was not a good place to be. I asked if we could take her anywhere, and she answered no. I looked back to check if I could see any of the others. When I turned back, she was gone. The experience did frighten me a little, so I quickly returned to the my friends.

Some of them reported hearing faint religious-sounding chanting, but nothing as dramatic as what I saw. By then, it was getting dark, and none of us particularly wanted to camp out there overnight. So we got back into our car and spent much of the night driving over rough, difficult and really dark roads back to Taman Tringkap.

Later, after we returned home, we checked our photos, but they only showed ordinary ruins like one could find anywhere in the country. There was only our story of what we saw and heard. Recently, I found this website so, for what it's worth, I relate our story here.

I do believe to this day that the girl I encountered was the ghost of one of the Ma family members who disappeared that night in 2003. I also believe that the 17 people who were there that night are dead. How they died, I feel I will never know for sure. However, I do believe that the very place we visited, where the house was built, is evil, and that the girl's warning possibly helped to save our lives.

NOTE: The local authorities in the area deny that any of the events of 2003, described earlier, ever happened. I have since talked to the reporter by phone, and he swears by his story, but refuses to divulge the nature of the evidence he claims to have or allow his name to be used, for fear of losing his job.

I was inspired to write this after reading a post from another user. Their story reminded me of an experience I had not too long ago.

About a year and some months ago, when I was just six months pregnant with my son, Jazz, my husband and I left the local Thai hut. I was full to the brim with Tom Yam. It was fairly late, around midnight, and we were heading back towards our Kampung (Bahasa Malay for "village"). It started to rain and my window was open just a crack. I closed it and continued the conversation with my husband.

We decided to go stop by his parents' (They live close by), when I felt a gentle and soft rub on my right shoulder. I looked to my husband, puzzled, and asked in disbelief if he just touched me? I say disbelief because my husband is a bit aloof and not very thoughtful, so it would have been out of his norm to do that. He said no. I told him what had occurred and out of no where I said, "It was a grand, motherly touch and it felt like someone was in the back seat!" I half expected my husband to scold me as he does not like me discussing such things after a certain hour.

As an American who moved to a village in Southeast Asia, I came to learn Malays are very superstitious--and rightfully so. To my amazement, my husband did not scold me (eventhough it was past the appropriate time to discuss such matters). Instead, he asked me where were we exactly when I felt it? I said, "right before we pulled in your parents' drive, a little back there near the tobacco leaves." He then told me his favorite grandmother is buried there. I did not realize there was a family cemetery in that wooded area.

The next day, I fell ill. Turned out I had gotten pneumonia and became bedridden for weeks. I remember praying to God that my son will be ok as I had dangerously high and low temperatures. Malaysia is damn hot and humid and there were times I felt I was freezing and my lips would turn purplish despite the weather! A number of times my husband had to stack many comforters on me. I could not keep food down and pittied my unborn son. It was the scariest two weeks in my life!

Sometimes, I would sense this grandmotherly entity with me. She would pull the comforters on me as I laid awake trying not to cough. After I regained my health, I did not feel her presence until after the birth of my son.

I had a C-section to deliver my baby. Malay's have a tradition for dealing with the time period after having given birth called "confinement". You're pretty much under strict house arrest for 40 days. You get massaged by your sisters-in-law, lathered in oils, and are the subject of many other traditional acts. Your stomach is put in a binder to avoid gas as well as flatten your tummy. For some, this sounds like a luxury, but I guarantee you it is not. Not to mention the strict diet of no meats, including chicken or fish! You're stuck on water, teas and soups--a pure liquid diet with lots of ginger root involved!

After being released from the hospital, I was placed at my mother-in-law's to spend "confinement". Doped on pain killers, I held my boy in my arms and I went to sleep. It was the middle of the afternoon when I awoke to the feeling of socks being placed on my feet. A strict rule of confinement is that one must wear socks constantly to sweat out the impurities by being covered. Thinking it was my sister-in-law, I just closed my eyes. I then opened them as I remembered I had locked the door because my sister-in-law's second youngest daughter kept coming in and I wanted to avoid her slapping my newborn again, so I locked the door to have a peaceful rest. I love my little niece and she is my favorite among them all, but I was upset at her envy of my baby. However, I understood her jealousy because she was just a toddler.

I tried to sit up, which is very hard to do when you recently had your belly cut open, and looked at the door. The lock was still pushed in. I also saw that I was covered in a thin green blanket as well as wearing socks. I hate socks and I do not like to be covered in midday due to Malaysia's humidity. I called my husband in and questioned him about it all. He said no one has been in my room. I also asked my sister-in-law, but she said, no, she was not the one who put the covers on, nor the socks. So I just left it alone. I already knew it was the grandmotherly entity.

Later, my mother-in-law questioned my husband and I about Jazz. It was noticed that he would focus at a certain area in the room, most notably the foot of our bed. He would stare as if he saw something and it delighted him. Sometimes his eyes would dart here and there as if seeing something flying about that we could not. He was not scared. He seemed amused.

I told my husband about the sock incident in detail and again he told me he thinks his favorite grandmother was taking care of me. It is comforting to know that I had a ghostly midwife watching over me and my son! It is even more comforting that it made my husband smile!

I moved to my current house back in 2003. The house I'm staying in is a double story house. The first day I stepped foot into the house, I knew something was wrong. However, when I told my father about this, he said it was nothing and asked me to go unpack in my room. Well for your information, I didn't think the whole place was haunted just a few places. Basically, it was the downstairs bathroom, my brother's room and ironically my room.

So it was quiet for the first two years. Then, my family members (my fathers side of the family) started to quarrel with my father. That's when "things" started to happen. At night, when my brother and I were alone in the house we could hear things falling down like screws and remote controllers. First, we went upstairs to check but everything seemed fine that's when we a heard when we started to hear a heavy breathing from my room, we got so afraid and raced down. So, we told our parents the very night but they said that there was nothing to worry about. However, the next day they brought a medium to cleanse the place (maybe they were afraid too but didn't show it). Again, everything was quiet until I turned 13.

This time things became scarier, I entered the downstairs bathroom to have my bath but when I turned on the light nothing happened. So, I got really scared and ran up to call my brother who was upstairs at the moment. When I told my brother about this he said the fuse might be broken. So I returned downstairs, but before reaching the stairs I took a peek to see the bathroom. What I saw literally made me drop to the floor crying! I saw a black shadow move towards me very fast and then right before reaching me it vanished. However, I kept this matter a secret because I thought no one would believe me. Within three weeks of the incident, another medium was brought to cleanse the house. Now, the medium was a powerful person from Thailand who revealed all the problems. He said the previous problems were caused by a ghost which wasn't properly 'sent away", while this time it was black magic cast upon my family by "someone".

Now I am 15 years old and will be turning 16 in a few months. I have the ability to sense ghosts but I can't see them. I did not believe I had this ability but the medium somehow reminded me of the school which I studied in (primary school) that particular school was build above the Japanese soldier's burial ground. All my past memories of the "something" that was there in the school (feelings) were somehow reminded to me! That was the reason why I sensed something in the house first according to the medium. The worst part is those feelings are coming back and the downstairs bathroom is acting strange again but other than that it seems okay.

What do you think is doing this? Please I would really like to hear your suggestions and opinions! Thanks for reading this true event that happened and is still happening to me and my family!
