QUOTE(topgradeexam @ Dec 17 2014, 02:38 PM) Quite interesting to read. Although some of the houses you all mentioned at the first few pages, those abandoned houses etc. I would have no idea as I'm not from PJ, but I'm familiar with SS2 , Damansara Jaya, and LDP highway as I often go to the SS2 shops and to One Utama shopping centre coming from Subang Jaya. Plus, SMKDJ is a good cluster school so I know where DJ is. can lump those areas in here too.Maybe someone can open another similar thread, this time for the area around Subang, USJ and Taipan. Would be curious to know if there are any stories for this few areas |

QUOTE(Deimos Tel`Arin @ Dec 17 2014, 02:57 PM) aye i'm only reading until page 11 of 17 but i need to comment on this. dunno who or wat he was praying to lah. he is a born catholic but his wife is a convert n got some stories that she still practice taoism n buddhism. in one of the buddhism books that i read before, praying gives off energy, if you pray a patung without real god's spiritual duplicate (法身) residing inside it, other things may squat inside those patung, and the act of praying will give them energy and they will grow more powerful. all i know is their house was damm creepy n whoever goes in will be filled with a sense of dread. day or night also same. |

Just heard another story fr my fren just now.
the location is a row of semi d houses along the main road that stretches fr primary school all the way to LDP (kastam Kompleks that exit) the house is nearby the primary school along the ^^ main road. in the 80s a chinese family lived there. the husband's mum hung herself on a tree in d house garden. d house was left abandoned for at least 10 yrs. den a malay family moved in n did many days of prayers. d malay family has lived there ever since. |

QUOTE(ahurgan @ Dec 17 2014, 05:08 PM) not too surprising, didnt you realize its still near to that hindu cemetery? but tamans are scary at night. lol even at ss2 there my sis kena follow ( another story ) found out it was from the taman where she parked. One of the trees there. She always arrives home at dusk. i used to park next to the cemetery when lepaking at my fren's house. leaving his house at 3am in d morning n walking to the car was very nerve wrecking. very dark n very quiet. another time i stayed back in college until 12am. i was at d petronas junction smoking waiting for my turn when suddenly someone grabbed my arm. i turned n it was a guy asking for cigarettes. i told him no more ciggies but he saw my pack o nd passenger seat n wanted to climb into my car to get it. i had to push his head out while trying to wind the window up. window was half way up n he let go n went to the car behind mine to ask for ciggie. WTF man lucky i no hit d car in front DJ full of weird ppl |

QUOTE(TechnoG @ Dec 18 2014, 12:17 AM) I don't know why ghost are often stereotyped as woman wearing white with long hair and no legs damm i miss the days when my dad n his frens will chill n chat over a few beers while we kids listened to the ghost stories. this was in d 80s n 90s, n d stories all damm power one. once in a while the old folks (grandma n grandpas) will chip in...especially when it comes to superstitions. den everyone will go "oh no wonder la". d old folks will den hear a story n den say "back in the 50s or 60s this n that happened at that place" Up to you to believe this or not, my uncle work as those land surveyor or something like that with perhilitan (or was it sub con?), and he will usually enter the forest everyday. He told me that spirits come in all form and shapes, he saw 3 eyed creatures, those lion dance images and shit. The last time he told me those stories he didn't go into further detail la but just told me usually they are like monster like and not human like hahaha. this CNY when I meet him again I want to ask more. i wish i could remember those stories they told. |

QUOTE(yeelong @ Dec 18 2014, 10:47 AM) i being passing pj housing area quite a bit yeah i noticed those house pic in this tered and there are many more abandoned houses from sg.way until ss1. My friends said not for human live one. And i get the message. thats d main prob with buying houses in the older parts of PJ. some could have many previous owners or tenants...who knows wat happened there. my fren grew up in PJ n wanted to buy a house in PJ...he had the money. but after numerous viewings he could not find a house that he n his gf felt comfortable in...some of these houses he viewed, the moment u walk in u start to feel weird. he is very superstitious so he gave up buying a house in PJ |
