Hey guys, I'm new here. just want to ask is WoW Taiwan still active? cause yesterday i just download full english client WoD, and just started to play WoW. what i check in the internet taiwan population is soooooooo low..... and most balance faction server is Sundown Marsh (日落沼澤) - like 2800 ally + 2700 horde. And so i join that server. Is it true that WoW Taiwan is so less people?

i bought a month game time (i stopped playing n went back to US servers before even finish using my game time ) on taiwan n leveled to max, i can confidently tell u taiwanese WoW server has really really low amount of players, even my taiwanese friend plays on US server - frostmourne (it is now an oceanic server located in australia)

If u like social interaction and want to enjoy the game content (raid, battlegrounds, arena, etc ) then taiwanese WoW server is not for you.

On TW servers there is just no one to play with , meaning u cannot raid ( requires 20man minimum). Raiding with friends is the only part of WoW content i fully enjoy and the only reason for me to play WoW. With such small player pool, there is just no player to choose from and u are forced to stick with bad players meaning no progression which leads to having less fun, and more frustration. Its a vicious cycle.

My opinion ? Avoid TW, it is a total waste of time if u want to play WoW. Just play on US since in WoD they finally decide to give us oceanic realms located in australia. Basically every single South east asia player plays on US-Oceanic realms.

Hey man thanks for the comment. Well yea.. we play WoW is because we can do Arena/BG/Raid. No fun playing alone like playing single game. Offline wow xD Decided to join Barthilas for horde faction. And now i'm still surveying what to buy for the first time playing Retail. Like beta key or something like that. Not really sure about that. And anyway thanks alot

Waiting n see if there is a christmas sales discount for WoD. Hopefully my post helped u to decide which server to play on. If u like to raid u should use http://www.wowprogress.com/pve/oc to find a suitable guild for yourself. Peace out.

Wow, the pro warlock has spoken... yeah, with Oceanic servers (when the ISP lines are not f***ed up), we can get 130ms to Aussie servers too, so no reason whatsoever to go play in TW realms. If we wanna play offline game, might as well just play Elder Scrolls.
