Currently I have DisplayPort cable that comes with Dell U2414H, but no matching output cable on my graphic card.

Since I'm going to buy a new cable/converter anyway. Want to research which cable or converter should I get to maximize their display capability?

Specific naming so that I don't buy wrong cable please.

displayport & thunderbolt are future proof..

whether it's DVI, HDMI or DP - you can't tell the difference.

all are still digital signals, all will output the same.
