Hi! Probably a silly question -- but is there a way to set the watch to vibrate BUT screen do not light up when a notification arrives?

Just received 5.0.1 this morning. Battery life seems pretty bad? 7AM to 9:30AM - battery left 77%. Woah!?

Can you guys who have updated share your battery performance? Mine is bad. But been using with watchmaker though, which is not optimised for Lollipop yet. Will try with default faces tomorrow.

I didn't realize how annoying Lollipop notifications are until I updated my WhatsApp last night.
Regardless of what settings i have in-app and in Lollipop notification settings i cannot for the life of me, turn off: 1. Heads up notifications 2. Vibrations! Really, is there anyway at all to disable those two in Lollipop? I want the notification to appear in the notifications bar. And NOT preview my messages and vibrates! I only want vibrations for phone calls. Or are there any workarounds by tweaking the priority and/or interruptions notifications? Thanks. Oh, and the reason I asked in this thread is because now every of my WhatsApp messages (which come in every minute or so) vibrates on the watch as well as showing the messages! Annoying! |

QUOTE(petrofsky77 @ Dec 18 2014, 10:41 AM) If you don't want Whatsapp to show on the watch, u need to blacklist the app in your Adroid Wear app on the phone. But by doing this u cannot even receive buzzes when u have a new whatsapp message. Yeah... which doesn't work for me.Prior to latest update was exactly how I wanted it to be. * Doesn't vibrate on the phone * No Heads Up Notifications * Only WhatsApp icon is shown in notifications bar when there are new messages * Notification will sync to the watch but won't vibrates it Argh! Furious! Haha... |

Guys - anyone know how I could turn off vibrations on the watch when WhatsApp (v 2.12.300) messages arrive?
I've muted the phone, turned off vibrations on WhatsApp, and even set WhatsApp notification tone to silent. Driving me nuts. |

QUOTE(zhou86 @ Oct 7 2015, 06:20 PM) You need to off vibration within the Whatsapp app settings, either Chat or Group message. Turning off vibration on the phone don't work, as Android Wear simulates the in-app settings. Thanks. I did turned off the vibrations in WhatsApp settings. And now I am also getting the heads-up notifications for WhatsApp on my phone which is bloody annoying. How can I turn it off? Think that's the thing that sets the notifications on the watch. |
