Hey wanna ask you guys on the flat tire. Is it really obvious? Because i really interested on the watch but reading the review all saying bad things about the flat tire
*
Look for the black/dark watch face, then less obvious

if you appreciate the function of ambient light sensor, you will give in for the flat tire

Not really. I start ignore it after one two days wearing. It looks huge in review or website photos, but in real life when view from normal distance, it's tiny and you'll quickly forgot it's existence.
Dont believe ? Just go XDA forum for real owner's opinion.

*
That's your view.

Having said that, I accept it instead of ignore it as I understand why it exists there.  So I will not make a fuss of it bcos of the not full round display

Maybe they keep all the stock for the fair.
*
IOI mall outlet claimed they have never received stock. What a shame of this so-called smartwear fair

I can feel it in my bones. I'm gonna get one tomorrow already. LOL.

And because I can't wait, I'll have to get it from DirectD at the higher price (unless anyone can suggest an alternate cheaper option that can be purchased walk-in).

eventually senq reserved one for me. Got the 42mm at RM1,260

glad it's Malaysia official set with 1 year warranty

Hmm, incoming Android Wear update with speaker support, but Moto 360 2nd Gen no speaker... >.<

Really down to personal preference. I took this into consideration before getting moto over huatch.

To share as 2nd Gen user:

Like
1. Wireless charging
2. Ambient light sensor (1&2 are my main reasons not go for huatch)
3. Overall design - smaller footprint with angled lugs; not looked tacky to me (did check out huatch at hw store. felt it has lumps on the top and bottom as well as lugs that stick out straight making it appear larger)
4. Decent battery life, at least a full day use (depends what mode you go for)
5. Pretty useful in checking notification when lazy/not convenient to get the phone
6. This leather band is more to my liking compared huatch's

Downside
1. Flat tire (though I know it is there with reasons)
2. Sad ambient mode display - low pixelated, less bright Fixed by Marshmallow updates
3. Felt a bit slow when turning on active screen Fixed by Marshmallow updates
4. Hope there is active screen timeout to be set. Wish to stay on a bit longer before turning into ambient mode or dark
5. No sapphire crystal glass
6. No speaker
7. Expect a more premium box at this price

Gong Xi Fa Cai everyone!

Just got mine before CNY. Just wondering if there is a way of turning off the auto switching between ambient and full screen on? Coz when I'm moving my hands about doing normal things, it keeps switching between ambient and full-on by itself.

So, I'm hoping there's a way of turning on only a manual switch where I press the button only it switches from one to another.

Thanks.

You may wanna try to turn off "Tilt to Wake Screen" in Android Wear app

Hi,

How do you update to this? My moto says its system is up to date, and there aren't any updates for my Android Wear either.  blink.gif

I did factory reset and cleared Android wear app cache.

Connected to Wifi and Bluetooth all the time ? If yes, it's OK.
If it was idle without wifi and bluetooth, it doesnt looks good. Mine could sleep 8 hours ( no wifi no bt ) and drop 1%.
*
No wifi no BT

1%?! It's a huge difference. Don't mind to share your battery stat. Keen to know your idle drain %

My current one aint that good anymore ( thanks to CM theme engine and xposed framework ), about 3% drop after 9 hours sleep.

Here's how it should looks like, even with wifi connected, it only dropped few % even after more than one day idle.

Something weird happened after receiving the MM update for AW. Before this (for example), my Moto360 unique device indentifier is BB6M, after the update, it became 3XZY. And I had to reset the watch and pair it again, since after the update, notifications no longer gets pushed to the watch. But coming from a 1st gen Moto360, i feel that the update causes the watch to lag more than before. Anyone else encounter this?
*
No. Mine is smooth

Would be better if the idle drain is lesser. Probably too high expectation on doze
