my friend tried it with wearaday apps, everything is good except it keep disconnect issue. the apps is only initial state & they say going to fix it on new update but until now still haven't got any yet

Just now i tried the google map navigation & is was good. it show approximate distance on next turn & direction to turn, and around 500m before turning, it will vibrate on watch as well. so when it match with 5.1.1 always-on support then it will be a good 2nd display GPS for walking & maybe driving.

you still can connect moto360 to iphone thru wearaday apps

I had try with iphone, connection disconnection issue fix with newer version of wearaday apps. iMessage it can preview on the watch when having incoming message. whatsapp, wechat only show notification but can't view the content or reply thru watch. OK Google function lost coz this function must connect with android wear only can use. for watchmaker, u just have to preload all your desire watch face from phone then it can work standalone when connected to iphone.

we use it to receive all sort of notifications from phone & reply thru the watch by voice. can use to GPS navigation as 2nd display, heart rate & steps monitor when u workout. change watch face to your everyday likes as well?

does anyone of u facing after update to 5.1.1 then watchmaker become not stable? like not showing the watch face, just black screen need to restart watch only can use again? yesterday nite after i update, watchmaker still working fine then i leave it to charge & this morning when im going to use it become black screen & can't change any watchface from watchmaker either from watch itself or set from phone.

i would recommend dun enable screen lock on moto360 as it will drain your battery like mad, i full charge until 0 in just 6hrs. coz when screen lock enable, when u have notifications the watch will light up display & doesn't go off in few second like normal, it will only dim the brightness but the display still on. now i'm turning it off & see how long can my moto 360 last.
PS : my watch previously can last 2 days of working hours before update 5.1.1 with very intensive of wechat & whatsapp incoming msg daily.
