Bigger battery is more to accommodate faster processor and better screen.....more like you got good engine but your car is big and heavy..... so more or less it much the same as the 1st gen but slightly better only hmm.gif

Cant help it....with our depression currency .... it think RM800 is more or less are the same as lazada also RM799-Rm800 already hmm.gif

QUOTE(n0vab1ade87 @ Oct 8 2015, 12:00 PM)
can anyone here tell me where to change my strap or purchase a replacement strap?
*
QUOTE(philippecr @ Oct 8 2015, 12:05 PM)
Get urself a SteelConnect adapter, then u can use any 22mm strap sold in the market without need to cut a hole in the middle.

Strap buy where? I prefer buy it online cos cheaper, decent quality and more varieties.

Or you can check out Fossil retail stores, they sell a lot quality leather straps which I think priced kinda reasonable la.

+1
if you had any china contact source.... you can get from china too.... dirty cheap then ordering from US or getting from shop at least i might say rclxms.gif

I'm a frequent user of Google Maps whenever I walk or travel about. If I were to use it on the watch for at least 1-2 hours per day will the battery last till midnight? Provided that I charge it till morning.

It has a new Qualcomm SoC tat is less power hungry, and much power then our 1st gen TI OMAP, and they even stuff in a slightly bigger battery, and a normal watch lug so no more "break back plastic" brows.gif, no need buy Steelconnect(some say no like). Battery can last like almost 2 days. So the improvement is very welcome one.

Just tat... I'm poor like shit... unsure.gif

But i'm not complaining, 1st gen still rocks, can last like around a day i'm happy, really. biggrin.gif

Haha... that the ideal est. time given by motorola only.... bet after when you throw in all the notification and stuff it will only last about 1 or 1 1/2 hours tops..... wink.gif

last time also they mention 1st gen watch can last for 1 days but when user got their watch .... it lasted only 5-10min with everything thrown in..... if it is ideal, i think which most of us benchmark it could last almost 3 days max and i bet a slight improvement over new one could be 4 days to 5 days maybe..... blush.gif

Well, i also welcome the new processor and LCD but some small minor improvement just don justified the expensive price tags for most of us....

Haha .... most of us is broke too because of the USD hike and everything kept increasing.... for now i would just sleep, eat and hold on tight to my 1st gen rclxms.gif

1 or 1 1/2? Do you mean the difference between Gen one with full charge or the watch will seriously only last for an hour?

This moto 360 first caught my eyes for it's nice round design. Too bad at that time I just switched to iPhone so an android phone was out of the question.

Then, early September this year the game changed. When I knew that it's possible to use the Moto 360 with iPhone, my interest for the watch was revived.

Having done much research, even with friends who has iwatch, their normal feedback is that they use their smart watch mainly for notification and very occasionally for apps which was very slow to load. I figured that I would probably fall in to the same category and mainly because I hate to pull out my phone only to find that its not a very relevant message which I need to reply.

So I decided to purchase one for this purpose. I could have waited for Moto 360 Gen 2 but the price is not appealing. The prices having fallen, it is quite an affordable gadget/toy to have.

After a few days of use, my observations are as follows: -

1. Battery life is below average. The watch hovers dangerously at 20% on a normal to slightly heavy use (with lots of heart rate check and messages);
2. Performance is slightly sluggish as reported by most but I am not complaining as it is still reasonably acceptable.
3. Like the waterproof feature. No worries when washing hands or bring it in to the shower to control the music.
4. With iPhone, the watch face is limited. I can't even add more information on the watch face so it can be a bit bland.
5. Not wearing it too tight so I don't crack the back. Don't think its worth investing more money for the steel connect, although rubber straps might be nice so I can use it more in the vicinity of water.
6. Drains my iPhone battery more because of the constant Bluetooth connection.

The only thing about this watch is that my normal watches are now in cold storage for the moment.

I think I will get bored of this watch soon but this is not the watches problem but inherent in all smart watches.

Gen 1 charge only lasted 5-10min of heavy usage while Gen 2 will give its best at 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours....both on fully charge then again it all up to subject of heavy usage testing with ambient on....
