my uncle also had da same thing....but he's using digi.....dey gave him rm20 free 1st but dey said hav 2 top up b4 some date den onli can enjoy da free rm20....but my uncle dint topup n da rm20 vanished

hmm im using e1000 wit 3g enabled n i went 2 lowyat about a week ago n i tried connecting to da 3g portal n its ok wat....ntg happen also
top up as in normal top up la.....go 2 shop or petrol station n buy da coupon lor

sms is useful when i am in cLass.. and damn borEd... =P it takes up more time.. for ppl like me ler.. need to kill time mar... =P

No need. but need to pay RM100 deposit again. no need stamp fee. can be done in 2 hours.

I switched from prepaid (hotlink) to postpaid P75 last July.... but found out that my usage normally around RM60+ only.

So I decided to switch from P75 to hotlink 2 weeks ago. (paid RM35... ) and they refunded the RM100 deposit from postpaid account.

And guess what? it's not worth going to prepaid because the call rates will be MUCH higher .... like 2 weeks already my hotlink already top up 3 times already... because i need to call other non-maxis number, etc...

So I went to Maxis centre today to pay my outstanding bill for my recently terminated postpaid account. The customer care lady persuaded me to switch to postpaid back again.

She says the normal procedure apply... Pay RM100 deposit ... kau tim. no need extra charge whatsoever....

I told her that i will think about it first, perhaps next month when my wallet has more money to pay for the RM100 deposit again.

My advice: stick with postpaid... althought you only use RM60.. the value for it is much more than what u will be getting from hotlink.

and maxis postpaid customer care is excellent.

^The 1000 SMSes thing doesn't really bother me.

It's cheap but it degrades the quality of the network.

Heard that Panic Monday service is cancelled,is it true ar? Due to pressure by postpaid user threatening to terminate their service

why should I go there if I m not hotlink? mostly those who active in hotlink are all mui mui zai or siao di di like you. 

heyz... ur maxis bill for the last 3 months must be below RM30 or they wont allow you to swap back to prepaid line...

Actually, I am not aware of such ruling. It is probably fabricated to discourage high paying cash cow aka postpaid customers from ditching postpaid. But if you truly want to switch to hotllink, rationally maxis cannot stop you, because it's YOUR MONEY.

In commercial sense, they would rather earn less from you than totally lose you.
In my case, my average monthly bill was RM80+ and I went to maxis centre to get it changed to hotlink. No question was asked. Maybe it's because I look a bit b****y and they wont want to mess with me.

I was actually prepared to answer them 'is this any of your business to know why i want to switch back to hotlink because the last time i remember , I paid for my bill and it's not you. Just tell me if you can do it or not, if you cant i will just switch to Digi or buy your dirt cheap hotlink starter pack.. your call.'  

this is the same respond u give to credit card companies when u cancel your credit card. just tell them you want to cancel the card in writing no need to give reason. if they call you to ask the reason, you just tell them to shut up or better still ask them to pay for your yearly fee. sure kaotim one.
