QUOTE(Gaia34 @ Jan 8 2015, 12:33 PM)
I believe Shaqiri will choose Liverpool over stoke la if he comes to epl....

Seeing Karamic choosing Leicester who is battling for relegation over a future at Chelsea..who knows what will happen.
*
Don't forget about Bojan, who once played for Barcelona is playing for Stoke as well. A dangerous forward too.

i guess sometimes its better to be a big fish in a small pond, than a small fish in a big pond.  tongue.gif

With Stoke, regular 1st team playing time is guaranteed. like Shaqiri been benched at Bayern so long, i guess he won't mind to be a star in a smaller club. somemore he is still quite young, and if he does make it big in EPL in the next few years, a big club might come along and sign him again. maybe that's some players view it.
*
Yeah, true also. Or maybe they see these small club as a stepping stone for them to hop into a well organized/ better club in 2 years time or so? Yes that could upset the club they are about to sign, but that's the reality. The club should be grateful that a star that once played for a CL club would go to relatively small clubs to share their experience.

^ reminded me of:

westham signed tevez + macsherano

Yup yup, many players with big ambition are like that. laugh.gif

QUOTE(Gaia34 @ Jan 8 2015, 03:34 PM)
well although Lester is battling to avoid relegation but they can guarantee him playing time...
*
Yeah, with their situation, they had to resort to any opportunity given to them. Put up a gamble like what Leeds did last time.

I think everyone in here know it is impossible to sign messi. Post regarding messi are for teh lulz only.

Dont think we'll sign anyone this window.
*
We just go with the flow only la. Media wants to make it a hype ma. We let them hype abit lo. Haha, no point thinking if we are going to bring Messi in. A team cannot have two creative player. See Real Madrid, Benzema and Ronaldo furious on Bale for being too selfish. laugh.gif

I was all the time standing by Lampard but this is really out of my expectation. Now they say he never went there for starting season of MLS, instead he will join MLS on July 1 doh.gif Lampard oh Lampard, you are making yourself look bad there. Even as a support and a role model since early days, I do not think I can take this excuse.

In other news, Valdes confirmed for Man Utd and Shaqiri goes to Inter on loan deal until the end of the season, but with the obligation to make it permanent in the summer.

30m come knocking? World Cup winner but warming the bench most of the time, only get introduced during second half, and it's not even up to standard, I'd sell him right away. How many opportunity you can get when some other club offers you a 30m for a non-consistent performer?

OK, let's say we sell Schurrle with 30M price tag. But who do we get as a replacement? hmm.gif And also who is available?

Can we get Aubameyang from Dortmund? He can play as winger or striker. But not sure if he is the Mou's type of player with high work rate.

Or Lavezzi? There are rumours of him wanting out from PSG. hmm.gif

But will he wanna come back and warm the bench? Outmuscle-ing big brother Eden and Willian to earn a starting 11 spot is not easy. laugh.gif Let's not forget ada Salah lagi. tongue.gif

And iinm, he is starter in Borussia Mönchengladbach and currently doing very well. Not sure how the loan club and Thorgan feels about moving back to Chelsea. There are rumors saying Thorgan is looking to settle down in Borussia Mönchengladbach too.  hmm.gif
*
Cannot let him settle down there! He must come back. Then we have Thorgan on right, Eden on right! laugh.gif

The more people we bring in, the less chance for our academy player will have their chance to step up and shine in blue shirt. If Schurrle does leave for 30m, I reckon we don't sign anyone. Just get someone from our academy or recall back some of the loanee we have outside.

Our depth of squad is so much better compared to other clubs and yet we choose to sign instead of use our resources. It's like Dubai kept on buying petroleum when they are the richest oil based country. doh.gif

Okay I feel better now. laugh.gif

Honestly didn't see that coming. I expect Soton gonna struggle, given that the game is playing in Old Trafford. But they just prove to the pundits they are capable of being one of the best this season; putting Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham to shame.

Not sure how accurate this report is.....but

http://www.givemesport.com/537771-thorgan-...paghettiplay=on

Jose Mourinho is planning to shock Chelsea fans by introducing Eden Hazard’s younger brother Thorgan to the first-team, as he’s grown frustrated with the likes of Andre Schurrle and Mohamed Salah. hmm.gif

Can't wait this to be happen! laugh.gif Finally my words are heard! rclxms.gif

IMO can tire them during the first half with Ramires pair with Fabregas, Hazard and Matic on midfield. Second half introduce Oscar for Ramires to open up their defense. hmm.gif

This is the kind of Oscar I am looking forward to watch. Not afraid of testing his luck outside 12 yard box. We have been missing that since Lampard is no longer in starting 11 for us. We sorely miss that and we definitely need that back. IMO both Costa goal is too easy for him. tongue.gif Swansea really hampered badly by the first goal. Sloppy defense. Schurrle goal can see Oscar abit disappointed for not picking up the hattrick hero. biggrin.gif

Unrelated, just saw the second goal Torres scored. He made Pepe like a 10 year old kid. laugh.gif
