Is 0w-20 is rather too thin & will create much noise from the engine? Or alternatively, go for the range of maybe 0w-30 or 5w-30 for such Axia 1.0cc?

QUOTE(intel_centrino @ Dec 14 2014, 11:33 AM) honestly, since Axia is new in Malaysia and its under warranty..its best just to follow Perodua guide on engine oil rating..and 0w-20 is really very thin actually as its fully not semi but under warranty then no choice True however, Perodua also has those gold color semi-synthetic oil of 5w-30 usually used for their other cars range, will that be better than this watery thin 20?just stick to the perodua service centre only |

Ok ok but on the other hand, the question is isn't 20 is way too thin? Or all 1.0cc 3cylinders engine are design to use 20 also?

If that's the case then there're many 20 choices in the market besides Perodua if the warranty issue is not a concern & soon or later all the 20 prices will be sky rocketing high because of this EEV - see the pictures!

Can I just let this subject be here for there're constructive comments from good members about this new car using a new oil from the same car manufacturer for the 1st time? I believed many here are amazed by Perodua starts using a new full synthetic oil for their EEV too...
Can I? |
