my Dota 2 had this issue after around the techies patch, screen will freeze 1~3sec for every 10sec. Basic solution including: reinstall, verify cache, network connection, restart computer, restart router, update latest video card patch, tuning the graphic setting and etc, the answer no , it wont work because i tried it all. My average ping is around 30ms, no package lost at all

i don't know. cuz I use my mac to play dota

try copy and paste the error in the console, and paste it in google..

that might give u the clue to fix it or whats the probs u facing..

hmm seems like hell lots of people experienced this issue since 2013, and not a single clear fix is given, steam just sit there be like: Im earning hardcore profit, no time for bullshit..
guess im gona retired from dota 2

The uncompressed update thing has been around for ages. There's no actual fix, but some users have said that by turning off the anti-attack setting on their routers, they've resolved the problem. I don't exactly recommend doing this, but if you're desperate enough you can give it a try.
