ANNOUNCEMENT: Fraudulent case encountered by Lovely Disabled Home

Please be aware! There are two young man who claimed themselves as student from TARC College, Hoo Kok Kai (NRIC: 941023-14-6049) and Chin Kean Tat (NRIC: 931109-14-5663) has recently present at Lovely Disabled Home to volunteer themselve, in order to fulfill the requirement in completing their assignment. During this period, they did some shooting of short video clips and also photography of Lovely Disbled Home workshop, mentioning that they were to create the awareness to care for Person with Disability in the website.

However, this had caught the attention of the founder Mr Lum Kok Kiang, when they actually requested for the Business Registration Licence of Lovely Disabled Home for them to complete the task. Mr Lum suspected something is not right, and refused to provide them the licence to avoid any fraudulent cases, and also to protect the interest of our centre and public donor. To our shock, they took away the licence which we hang on the wall (a coloured + laminated photocopy) without the notice of Mr Lum, with intentions unrecognzed.

We had lodged a police report on this incident, to avoid any fraudulent cases occurred in future. We also urge the public to be alert and cautious while making donations to charity home, as the con man nowadays can be way tricky than what we expected.

Besides, The founder of Lovely Disabled Home, Mr Lum Kok Kiang has made a visit to KTAR to investigate further on the fraudulent case happened yesterday. KTAR has confirmed that, there is no such person in their student records. Therefore we believe that this has been their initial plan to perform a fraud ever since they stepped into Lovely Disabled Home volunteering themselves.

After been searching around, finally we found a picture of the suspect. Therefore we have uploaded his picture in our official Facebook page, so that our public donor will be aware of this guy. We would also like to apologized for all the inconvenience caused by this incident. Your kind understanding is truly appreciated.

Please feel free to contact us at 03-78739622 if you have any doubts on this issue.

Thank You.
