Hello all, anyone of you using toyota engine oil semi 10w30?

All this while I was using semi 10w40 but today the mechanix change to 10w30 semi @.@ will it affect engine oil loss?

After change to 10w30 engine oil, been noticed that my car fan radiator been spinning most of the time after i shutdown my engine.

Too hot the engine after use 10w30?

Dear Pro,

Recently i mentioned i change my engine oil to 10w30 from 10w40.

Sat morning travel to Melaka and temperature slighly increase a bit. Then yest come back at afternoon and temperature increase morw than 90 degress and almost redline and i close the air cond.

Just now i start my car and monitor the engine, found out radiator fan did not spin. When only the radiator fan kick in and spin? Air cond fan is spinning once i open the aircond.

Or is it the engine oil too thin? I phobia going highway now

Hmm... so it mean even i dont have faulty radiator fan the 10w30 still able to outstation like to penang?

Mean after 90 degree, it only kick in the radiator fan? if not it won't kick in?

That's why yest night time i turn my engine on and wait around 10 minutes but the radiator fan won't spin. This morning i reach my office and open my hood and check the radiator fan also did not spin. But weird is the temperature is normal even the radiator fan did not spin, and i did not open my air cond.

The coolant level is there, and i check i guess is ok.

Mean is my car radiator issue then

Anyone know how much to fix it? Or themostat issue?

Just now went to a workshop, then tell him my problem. Then he use some metal hit the radiator fan, then it auto run. Guess the motor weak already.

Mean all this while my main radiator fan did not work, i just depend on the air cond fan when the air cond fan did not kick in, how the temperature survive? Just now while waiting the uncle from the workshop i open my hood, both fan did not spin but my temperature still like normal.

Ya, i do feel it cuz when i stuck in jam during overheat that time my temperature shoot up but when i driving it come down back to normal.

Change the radiator fan, now it spin like normal. No need overload depend on the air cond fan.

Anyone encounter issue of the front light car, once i open my car light. The indicator will turn blue, if blue mean the indicator for big light is on. If the indicator did not show blue color mean is normal when i open the light.

The problem come from here, the indicator will have lighter color blue and one of the headlamp light will turn amber and another side headlamp will change to big light. Sometime it will be ok no such indicator prompt up when i open car light. Sometime it will be there and the headlamp will be hairwyre again.

You mean the indicator thing? Wah.. will it cause expensive?

As i search through web, some say there is the wyre and some say need to pull direct from the player.
