Midfielder Charyl Chappuis will be hoping for another good tournament having done well at the 2014 AFF Suzuki Cup.
Thailand head coach Kiatisuk Senamuang has dropped four players from his AFF Suzuki Cup winning squad for the upcoming King's Cup tournament in February.

The King's Cup tournament that is held to celebrate King Bhumibol Adulyadej's birthday will be played in the Nakhon Ratchasima province of Thailand from Feb. 1-7 with Niko Kovac's Croatia, North Korea and South Korea's Olympic squad as the three invited teams.

While star players Charyl Chappuis and Chanathip Songkrasin kept their places in the team, Kirati Kaewsombut, Chayaphan Kitpongsritada, Sompong Soleb and Chainarong Tathong were omitted from the squad of 20.


Chanathip Songkrasin will spearhead the Thai attack against Croatia, North Korea and South Korea Olympic squad at the King's Cup.
Kiatisuk has also stuck to his mantra of calling up players who can play the style of football he fashions and explained that British-born midfielder Mika Chunuonsee and Prathum Chuthong were not called up because "their playing style does not suit my system."

Two newcomers in the squad are Chonburi FC's Nurul Sriyamkem and Muangthong United midfielder Thitiphan Puanjan.

This will be Thailand's first competitive tournament since their 2014 Suzuki Cup triumph which put them as joint record holders of the competition with four titles along with Singapore.

Kiatisuk would like it to be a West Asian team...

national team yg youth oriented macam thailand akan hantar team yg lebih lemah untuk SEA Games......

Dahla world cup qualifying dan asia cup qualifying dah combined....caca merba sungguh kalau baca format die..

Aku rase masa kes affizee pon FAM dah buat rule yg harimau muda players tak wajib balik negeri asal.

Gary ni pon dari muda lagi masuk SSBJ kan? Ape contribution dan hak Kedah FA pada die ? Kalau deal tu adelah antara parent Gary dan FAM, Kedah FA tak boleh claim apa2.

Bagi aku ade kontrak baru boleh claim. Kalau negeri asal nak lindungi player mereka then patut offer kontrak jangka panjang and then loan pada Harimu Muda.

Kes Gary ni antara Pahang dan JDT jer....

Kalau JDT go through Mat YO punya route, then die kene bayar keseluruhan kontrak Gary walaupun Gary tak pernah main ngan pahang.

Kes Amirul Hadi plak camne setel hari tu ? Same gak?

Kalau JDT kene ban or point deduction so be it. Jawatankuasa tatatertib FAM kene berani....

The irony is FAMB haters nak TMJ jadi presiden..

Tapi awal-awal lagi die dah tunjuk die kisah nak buli team lain. Walhal team lain ni yg akan undi pemilihan nanti.

Start kempen dengan " saya bukan terhegeh-hegeh sangat nak jadi presiden FAM.....".

Tapi bila kalah sentap...

Kecewa btol aku Piala Asia tak disiarkan dalam HD...

Inilah tournament idaman dan dianggap kedua penting oleh peminat bolasepak Malaysia selepas Ranking FIFA. Coach negara terpaksa letak jawatan lepas tak layak ke Piala Asia.

Tapi FOX Sport tunjuk dalam SD saje. Adekah mereka cuba cakap yang Piala Asia ni tak penting?

Pelik btol reporter Syed Riduan ni... artikel tahap keyboard warrior... tuduhan berdasarkan persepsi sendiri dan persoalan rhetoric ke fam secara general jer... kalau camtu org2 biasa kat facebook pon boleh buat.... ko kan reporter.... pergilah dapatkan jawapan dekat wisma FAM tu.. be specific... instead of generic accusation and question to FAM, pergi direct kepada orang yg bertanggungjawab iaitu pengarah teknikal baru FAM Fritz Schmid. sejak die masuk keadaan jadi huru-hara ni..... give chance for the right people to defend their decision.... dalam FAM ade byk org buat tugas masing2......go to each specific person for each specific issue... be a real journalist that strive for the depth in news......not just someone spitting their agenda....

sekali takde pon.....just kemungkinan dan imaginasi penulis jer...

Bharian dah jadi tabloid macam metro dah jadinye...

instedt of creating questions dan rhetoric dalam artikel, aku harap die lebih fokus kepada answers dan facts. there are always 2 side of the story. a good reporter akan akan main kedua2 side to increase credibility of their article..

rivalry lebih effektif untuk tarik penyokong daripada quality of footballl.... sebab tu bagus ade singapore dalam liga kita...

real football club supporters would hope the worst. result for their rival but would never hope them to be relegated/promoted from the same league.
