can I ask how public bank house loan work?

I got offered by public bank, but just a normal home loan, non flexi.

If I insist to change to flexi, current offer will be voided and need to re-submit and wait again.

Also been told, flexi in public bank, only 50% of the money in current account will be used to deduct interest. one of the forumer does mentioned once that pbb flexi required RM10K to be parked in the account and will not use to deduct interest.

If this the case, other bank that offer flexi are way better than public bank.

Now im thinking should I ask them to re-submit agan for flexi or not.

Anyone can advice?

just get a loan reject from Maybank. Maybank require 10% downpayment amount in saving account or investment.

For example, property price is 500k, 10% downpayment is 50K and Maybank required equivalent 50K of saving/investment is available

U mean they need u to pay 10% DP and at the same time leave 10% with them?

DP is 2%, after rebate.
Then Maybank want to see do you have that 10% amount (50k) in savings/investment/parents account

thank you.

Yeah understand if required to pay 10% down payment, definitely need to have that amount of money in bank.

Just that now most project developer selling future price, and with rebate, only need to pay 2% DP. not sure to say if this is marketing strategy or what, but eventually causes disappointment
