QUOTE(BEANCOUNTER @ Nov 7 2015, 12:12 PM) the reno end lot definitely either belongs to the owner of main contractor or director of setia..... Actually I don't really mind the fact that the owner did a renovation. Because it looks quite nice and to be honest I may also want to do a similar renovation. I just hope that spsetia won't stop me when I do a similar one. Because if they do, I will take them to court!they did that in ecopark too.....lagi changed the front faƧade unlike any other units.........si beh keng chou..... but ecopark is ind title...less enforcement. there is nothing fair in this world. |

QUOTE(yee0810 @ Nov 7 2015, 08:37 PM) Sorry to hear that. Check the sliding door locking mechanism and window handles too. It's fairly bad. The contractor promised me that it will be fixed without much issue. Let's see how true.. That's shoddy workmanship! Hello spsetia are you reading this? That's f*****g shameful. This is unacceptable for a premium developer who aspires to be an international player. You gonna fix every single loose screw I see in my house. You want to sell one million ringgit house,, then act like a developer who sells one million ringgit house |

QUOTE(yee0810 @ Nov 7 2015, 10:31 PM) Hahaha.. Workmanship is always the contractor not the developer so much Mah. Today 2 SPS guys came with me to do joint inspection. At least they acknowledged my dissatisfaction over the poor workmanship and stood at my side when the contractor guy came. The merbau flooring upstair is quite ok though to be fair Ya lah but who control the contractors? Who sign off on the contractors completion checklist. Glad that you are happy with their responsiveness. But poor quality work should not have been acceptable in the first place. I know I won't |

I don't think it's right to discriminate against potential tenants because of their skin colour. That is completely unethical. What if the so called "negro" is a university professor with three beautiful daughters. Do we still ban them? Whether the current government is racist or not is completely irrelevant. We are not talking about the government here. We are talking about racial profiling the occupants at setia eco glades. However it is completely valid to be vigilant against drug gangs. So what we should do is very properly the identify of the tenants, for those owners who want to rent out their unit. Don't take short cuts. But racial profiling is not the right answer. It never has been. Yours Negro QUOTE(Soros007 @ Nov 27 2015, 04:09 PM) |

If I'm not mistaken I sense some contempt in your comment.
And why would you assume that if I rent my unit to a family of the African ethnicity, my property is going to depreciate? It's highly irrational. How would you feel if you go to another country, and people refuse to rent out to your family on the basis of your ethnicity. It's wrong isn't it. A good neighborhood is not a good neighbourhood because of the absence of dark skinned people. It is a good neighbourhood because of the good mentality of its neighbors. Then let's not rent to tenants with bad track records, regardless of what ethnicity the family belongs to.
But please don't refuse to rent your unit, because the family is a "negro". In the end I think I understand what you are trying to do. You are trying to protect the neighbourhood. That's all well and good. But sorry, I simply have to speak out against racial profiling. QUOTE(Soros007 @ Dec 1 2015, 01:32 PM) |

Oh my god Soros, you are so full of assumptions!
First you assume that "negro" people are bad tenants, and you tell everyone not to rent out to "negro" people And now you assume that I'm an estate agent!!! I have got nothing against estate agents. I think they are just trying to earn a living. But I'm not an estate agent. I'm an accountant!! Like seriously bro. Chill. QUOTE(Soros007 @ Dec 1 2015, 01:32 PM) |

Tsk enough with the estate agent already. I didn't spend three years of my life sitting for the professional exams learning about revenue recognition and asset impairment to be called an estate agent, did I? What if somebody says that you are a professional belly dancer, wouldn't that be hilarious? I don't know anything about you, and you don't know anything about me, so stop assuming. Plus one doesn't need to be an estate agent in order to not be a racist.

Ok lar I think I also understand where you're coming from. Let's just leave it at that.
By the way, congrats for getting the key! QUOTE(Soros007 @ Dec 2 2015, 09:17 AM) Bro - It's not racist here. It's protecting your own asset before too late. I understand what you are saying. I even rented my houses in Aus to ppl from India, Bangla, Indon etc but they are good tenants. The problem in boleh-land is that our gov doesn't seem to care and help us and whatever happening now in M'sia is a fact. |
