Are we allow to enter Liu Li garden?   The guard stop me three weeks ago.
*
I entered a few weeks ago, parked along the road outside and just walked past the guard house to my unit... took pics smile.gif wonder when we will get the keys.

i was really looking forward to staying there, but this year instead of cj, my office is kl sentral! sad.gif thinking whether i should even keep the liu li unit. very heartbroken.

Really dun understand ppl  here.
If u can access to lyn forum  am sure u can easily find these info (putrajaya to kl sentral) on line ....

Yes liu li garden owners can hardly afford train tickets...haha

Think more like other factors that preventing  them from moving to cyber...hihi
*

It's the daily commute time, cost is a factor of course. Those owners working in Cj or Puchong etc are the luckiest. But then again, I think about it, is it worth it to drive additional 20mins daily to come home to a green and beautiful home? Perhaps it is..guess will just have to find out.

Honeatly not worth it....

Bcos the extra  time u spent on road is the time u were supposed to spend w family.
Beside by the time u reach home from office...sunset already...the garden only nice to feed mozzies....
How to enjoy? Hihi
*
Aha don't forget weekends and holidays smile.gif haha
Here in Ampang I curse everyday all the dust and noise from a million cars and the constant traffic. Honestly some days it takes as long to reach home anyway.

Yes. agree but the living hall is a bit small for me.  May consider to break the internal court yard  to make it bigger.  Do you own a unit in liu li as well?
*
That's a good plan. Thinking what to do with the indoor yard. I'm not much of a gardener smile.gif

Will you roof the open area too? I was wondering if possible. Don't fancy it being open to the elements.

Which part of the open area are you referring to? the indoor/internal yard?
*
yes, for my you mei unit, the internal yard seems to be open at the top. I'm thinking if it rains, might get messy. that's what it looked like last I went to see back in Nov/Dec.

Called the management. They allowed for 3 types of extension. If I hear it correctly, the roof must be 3 feet from the fence and column 5 feet from the fence. Please double check on this.

I thought under strata title cannot do extension?

If can, I also want to extend mine.
*
You own Liu Li as well? I have you Mei.. Do you have reno plans? I am just looking for ideas, thinking of what to do to sort of combine the dry and wet kitchen, or use up the internal garden as functional space. I'm not a renovation sifu ☺️ Need ideas..👍🏻

I feel not so privacy on my back house, due to not enough trees, on the road can direct view inside our house, especially for Liu Li Garden due to the house too near the fence. What we can do? Any 1 can giv some suggestions?? Or can we request SEG to plant more trees on back or near the fence??
*
Apparently we can plant trees.. My plan is to plant my own banana and mango trees as part of my urban gardening lifestyle 😀 That'll make it greener and bear fruits in the long run.

usually fruit trees are not allowed as it will upset the eco system of the area,,,attracting unneccesary predators and fruit birds...
*
SEG has planted some fruit trees, I saw jack fruit behind a neighbouring house. So I doubt there are restrictions on planting. Plus within my own yard I would plant as I please. I'm quite the urban farmer smile.gif

Hi, anyone who has a unit in Lu Liu gardens come across any orchard at their backyard?
*
Mine in orchard unit. The orchard is actually the area between back garden and the wall, its not really big but trees planted. I'm lucky to have mango trees, saw a unit with jackfruit, haha, would have not liked that at all.

Wait till the mango tree gets big and become infested with big red ants. Then you will want to chop it down but the roots may impact the soil area and your house. Many older houses in Damansara area used to plant mango trees some 20 years ago and then realized it's a big nuisance. Same with rambutan tree
*
Haha true, but I'm not concerned, proud Sarawakian here,we've planted all our own fruit trees even durian at home. I'm very much in my element smile.gif
