Not sure if this was discussed in the previous forum ... does anyone know if SPS is going to do anything about the current swimming pool and basketball hoop? The pool is ridiculously small for one island let alone to be shared by two. The basketball hoop is a joke. Any suggestions on how we can influence SPS to upgrade the facilities?

Not sure if this has been posted before. I tried to search but couldn't find anything. I visited SEG last weekend and one thing that really bothers me is how when you exit your guardhouse, the traffic flows in only one direction. For example, for folks exiting Nusantara who wish to take the flyover exit to Mex, they would have to turn left after their guardhouse and drive all the way down to roundabout at the Sales Gallery to do a U-turn.
When I spoke to the bloke doing my site inspection, he said the original plan was to have a break in the divider outside the guardhouse so you could head in both directions. Anybody have further details on this? Is there any way we could get management to put the breaks back in the dividers? This post has been edited by dubujay: Apr 13 2016, 01:24 PM

QUOTE(Longshot @ Apr 13 2016, 09:07 PM) Good point. Drove around SEG a few times and now oni notice this. Guess i was too busy I mentioned this to the defects team member to get his advise on the proper channel to raise this and he said he'll raise with management first and advice me on next steps. I was told that SPS staff also feel the inconvenience.

QUOTE(jonnie @ May 5 2016, 02:46 PM) Because there is not much traffic now. So you will feel its inconvenient. Once traffic build up the current set up makes sense as it ensures traffic does not come to a standstill. There will be less vehicle stopping to make a right turn or u turn. Those coming out from home also have to make a left turn instead of waiting at the junction to make a right turn. You raise a valid scenario. This would probably happen during peak hours especially when folks are heading out to work. Still I'd like to imagine that with the two lanes we have in each direction and assuming drivers are courteous to others on the road, having the option to go both ways would actually ease congestion. Given that both options may lead to some sort of congestion during peak hours, wouldn't you prefer to have the flexibility for the majority of non-peak hours?
