It is the master bedroom toilet. Terrible. This is definitely a mistake in the construction. Other bathrooms are alright though. In general, workmanship is alright but this mistake is unacceptable la..

QUOTE(fishermanship @ Nov 8 2015, 03:52 PM) I hope not man.. I don't wanna open the door and see the toilet. The toilet is off centre. They probably can move it more to the left, but it is going to take a lot of hacking of the pipes. This post has been edited by dreamlarge: Nov 8 2015, 04:14 PM |

QUOTE(dreamlarge @ Nov 8 2015, 07:08 AM) Hello all, the last time I checked my Huan Xi unit, before VP, the toilet door of the master bedroom does not open fully and hits the toilet bowl! Anyone has this issue as well? Really unhappy about this. Got the keys this week. Overall, everything is good and I am satisfied, only minor issues. Slight leak in ceiling after heavy rain. Told the person about it and he said that they will look into it. However, the master bedroom toilet door issue still remains. One possible solution is to hack the floor and to place the toilet bowl further from the door. I am not too comfortable with this as I am afraid it might cause other complications and leak issues in the future. Would appreciate it if the taikors here can give me some advice. Thank you. |

QUOTE(JXplod @ Nov 18 2015, 10:44 PM) bro the best option i would put this situation is to let SP setia appointed contractor to rectify it. Never the less all of us as home owner would prefer a problem free house to stay in a peace of mind, just sabar sabar for a while. Hope they can solve the issue for you, as our new house still under warranty. Thank bro for the advice. Hopefully they will come up with a good solution. Will talk to them soon. The other option is ask them to give you a few option what can it be done, before confirm which option is best suitable for you to accept the solution. |

QUOTE(corleone74 @ Nov 20 2015, 06:55 PM) congrates on your house. for the toilet door its a farc-up from sps, you may want to consider change to bi fold door if don't want to move the toilet bowl. what was sps response to you regarding this issue.? Thank you! Yes, was thinking of bi fold or maybe sliding door. They had a few suggestions, one of them was to put a stopper so that the door hit the toilet bowl directly *sweat*. Escalated the issue to higher management and waiting for their reply. Really a big c**k up from their part. |

QUOTE(AlvinTKTan @ Nov 22 2015, 10:37 AM) Not going to sales gallery, but I think sure got some owners will ask for it. Btw donnow if we make complaints, donnow they will go n change it or not?? Agree with you bro. It would be great if they could do some minor adjustment so that the layout is more practical. For the unit Huan Xi, the side 5ft yard with the 2 stupid columns really make the space feel very small. Izit possible we all go n ask the developer to relocate the 2 columns on their cost or not?? Cos this 2 columns need their architect plan to relocate. |

QUOTE(van_dyke @ Nov 23 2015, 10:56 AM) Yes bro. United we are strong. Hope they take us seriously. This is a mill dollar house. Not like buying vege in the pasar (maybe bro soros might disagree). Therefore, we only expect the best from SPS. So far so good, but the defect in my unit is unacceptable. |

QUOTE(Soros007 @ Nov 23 2015, 02:29 PM) Ooi... Regardless its 1 million or 100K, deliver a good product with high standard is a minimum ethical conduct of a public listed development company. Hehe.. jkjk bro... True, they have a good reputation and they have to back it up. I think we should form a close group to discuss the issues of SEG |

QUOTE(KingOfKing @ Jan 11 2016, 04:11 PM) Yup. Brought my architect friend over & he was so suprised with that kind of workmanship! Don't think they are trying to rush as they have even handed over to me few months earlier than expected. But heard the contractor is different from the Lepironia Semi-D side.. Is yours Huan Xi or You Mei? |

QUOTE(KingOfKing @ Jan 15 2016, 12:46 AM) Allow me to clarify one more time. The uneven surface has nth to do with the TEXTURE. You should really let them know. SPS is not the perfect developer but if you tell them the defects, they will rectify it, and they really fix it quickly. Based on the attached picture: - Highlighted as (1) Peddle dash spray paint = Is design purpose, nothing to do with the uneven surface that we are talking about - Highlighted as (2) Uneven surface = Due to poor "SKIM COATING". Hence, it must be something to do with workmanship, NOTHING ELSE!!! The good thing about them is that they are responsible (so far so good). |
