Bro, to ensure your voice is heard, you gotta make sure you join the JMC in 1 year's time. I can imagine it will be another 6 month's before the first few houses are occupied so there's still plenty of time.

And the answer is no, there are no legal provisions to ban any community from renting any properties. It will be considered racist if there are any such provisions. Hence, JMC cannot prevent owners from renting their houses to any nationalities. The only thing they can do is to create awareness and persuade owners and strictly enforce house rules (which is good enough if Management Office is well run).

Unfortunately, two wrongs don't make a right. You would've migrated long time ago if the words of politicians have any impact. Take it easy

I think end Dec is doable. Latest I can see for Charms:
1) Inner roads in the process of being tarred.
2) Both of charm's gardens should be ready in 2 to 3 weeks
3) Perimeter fencing are halfway completed
4) Pavers at main entrance completed

The only question mark is once the road are open to the public, how would the heavy vehicles enter the other half of the island I.e western & eastern heritage.

Yup, quite impressed with SP Setia's creativity thus far. Even the jogging track around the island seems to be an attraction and I might be wrong but there seems to be quite extensive work around the bridge into the island, so we may yet see the plain bridge transform into a thematic bridge as promised in the brochures earlier.

Spot on. 5 mins in Malaysian traffic can be very unpredictable during peak hours. Children's house is opening in Cyberjaya soon...another Montessori option for parents > children's house

Timber strip flooring is a good choice. If it's the Semi D batch, 11K is not expensive at all for the whole upstairs flooring + staircase.

I've driven through that area though not peak hour. Anyway, pref is still SJKC Union due to distance and convenience. Plus it'll be ready by 2018 which matches the timing of when my kids start school. Will definitely move to cyberjaya, just a question of timing.

2018 is what MCT guided. They have already started construction earlier this year so let's hope no delays.

The big windows does look like Agalia windows. I think the building probably got it's inspiration from Kamares.

Looks like only the islanders will get exclusive use of this round-the-island walk-path

As of now, there is a walkway within the fencing as well as outside the fencing. Nevertheless, even if within the fencing, the walkway will end just before the island's guardhouse and there will be a security door there. Whether mainlanders can access the inner walkway, we'll have to wait and see. Perhaps, sps has some plan. After all, the walkway is technically outside the island boundary and mainlanders are still SEG owners, not the public.

It's a pity if it stays this way. To encourage a close community living, there should be ways to overcome this. After all, all SEG owners will be issued security cards, it's just a matter of coming to an agreement as to enabling access to the walkway...not asking to access the island itself....just the perimeter.

We'll just have to explore this in future when the JMC is formed.
