WTH, your own property also can't fence up. What else U can't do ? I suppose can put up 2 poles and string then to hang clothes to dry, can, right ? Can keep dogs n cats ?
*
Oh, they don’t allow us to keep livestock with us. Pay so much cannot even keep live lembu, kambing and ayam.

On the other hand, there are cheaper semi D around the area which I believe that you could renovate your house to add the 16th floor if you want to as long it’s approved by whatever jabatan is

No... more on those traditional mindset i.e dont want to be control by house rules set by jmb..so they can do whatever they want on the house both internally and externally. Also strata title prop normally comes with higher maintenance fees..many traditional cina apak mindset will not be willing to pay that...

Existing / prospective owners - Is it true that we can't have dogs at SEG? Can't stroll at parks there even if we clean up? Is there a house / council law that states we cannot keep a dog within the house?
*
Not true. You are allowed to have pets as long as they are on leash whenever they are not outside and not endearing other people. Oh yeah, live stocks like ayam, lembu, etc are not allowed even though if you try to declare then as your pets tongue.gif

Weird looking design. Guess I’m just an old school guy since they won some awards with that design

When i picked up the key for Leporinia the other day, the management office told me that its not recommended to rent out to students especially from Africa continent. I asked her if that is common here in SEG and she told me it happens in link houses and somehow other tenants are not happy with it as they always party till late and make lots of noises. Funny that i didnt see much Africans when i was driving around there (havent yet moved in)

I've just moved in last week to Setia Rimba and wondering where do you throw away your boxes. I've been told by the management that they don't pick up carton boxes and I have to disposed them by myself.

Im from Lepironia, wanna ask, is Unifi here yet? or we only have the fiber at home to use currently.
If Unifi is here do we still rely on the router provided in the store room or will be a new router. because I realise currently the signal to my room upstairs is almost close to none .
*
I’m from lepironia as well. Currently using the same internet connection which came with the house and bought an extender to extend it to the whole house

Ok I gotta do that then. Any specific brand to recommend

Currently outside, will reply back once I’m back. Actually I bought 2 units of extenders as I thought I need 2 to cover the whole house but somehow only 1 unit is sufficient. I installed it on the family area upstairs. Could sell you the other one if you are interested.

Currently using DLINK DAP-1360 as an extender located in the family area. The coverage is pretty good, up to balconies.

I'll be moving in soon too. Didn't know its not strong enough to cover the area upstairs. But yea, this area doesn't have unifi.
*
The free one which came with the unit located in the store room and doesn’t even have antennas. Just need to extend those wireless signals is good enough. On the other hand, we have several build in LAN ports which already linked up to the router located around the house. Could use those ports as well for computers

Anyone has issue with the internet at your place which comes with your unit? The fiberathome internet service. I can’t seem to be able to connect tonight and their office is already closed

makes me wonder how secure is SEG  confused.gif
*
On the other hand, one of the houses at Laman View were robbed 3 nights ago and a high powered motorcycle were taken away by them, a day after that, the same robbers came again and beat the guards and took away the CCTV recordings.... SEG, I think is well secured. The double checking on the entrance does make it more secured

I think partly owner maintenance issue also.

Got 1 said is leave choking the water outlet.

Problem solved every time developer clear the choke.
*
Maintenance, leaves accumulates on the roof and blocking the water way and found its way into the roof. Once cleaned, then its fine. It was cleaned several times by Setia contractors and it keeps getting blocked by the leaves after some time and once its blocked, then water sips in. Guess the roof needs to be done better? (i don't know about it, guessing low quality job that water can sips in into the roof). Mostly happened to the unit with the flat roof type. The usual slanted roof have no issue with it as im aware of.
