hey guys, sorry to say, but i am a super newbie on overclocking....so can someone teach me a step-by-step guide on overclocking my processor....
here are my specs, socket 939 AMD Athlon X2 3800 2.1MHZ. ABIT KN8 Ultra 2x 512 Kingston DDR400. someone plssss help me out....thx. |

Added on November 29, 2007, 1:41 pm  omg...i actually used my BIOS to overclock...and i only raised my mhz to 230 and 10x multiplier previously was 200mhz x10....guess what...both my rams... burn! omg....stress like gila wei...can someone help me out here...lucky kingston got lifetime warranty  This post has been edited by wyman1991: Nov 30 2007, 12:07 PM |

OK! finally! here are my screen shots of CPU-Z
CPU, Mainboard, Memory, and SPD. Please tell me how my 2 rams got burned when i increase my cpu clock from 200mhz to 240mhz with default 10X multiplier.

lol....why don't you sell your whole rig and get a AM2 rig, you'll probally only need to top up 200+??
anyway...i tried to OC with my system....my 2 rams got burned....how sad.... |
