1.25V max? quite low

Yea la ... this is weird . totaly no idea . so i need help with this . My proc problem?

dose venice run alot hotter then winchester?

i removed IHS on my winchester but kill it, it was doing 30-35 on idle and roughly 50 on load with a max clock at 2.2ghz only. cooling it with a venus12

then i bought a venice e6 and did the IHS remover right away, but im getting 45 idle and around 60 load at clock 2.6ghz but only 1.45v core

thinking tht it is bcos of the mod i did, i put back the IHS (with proper paste between the core and IHS, all orig paste and the ruber-ish thing at the side remove)) but temp when up to 50 at idle and 65 on load and thts 1.375vcore on 2.5ghz only...crap

something wrong with the sensor? i think with stock cooler its not so bad either rite?

bro, if ur referrin to temp shown by coretemp, yes, it cud be as high as that. i ran my x2 @ 1.30v, d temp is ledi reachin 60'C.

tested with coretemp, its 60 max at load with the current clock and voltage, everest ultimate is showing 66 max tho, probably bcos it is reading from bios.

for nf4 lp board, bios readin is inaccurate imo, i always follow coretemp readin.

ok, meaning previously with IHS off its actually 54 a 2.6ghz, everest showing 60 at tht time

wow removing IHS give me a 5-6 celcius drop.

but its still high, venus 12 so lousy? even with a 50fcm fan on it.

winchester is so much cooler then compare to venice.

Hey guys,can u help me increase speed of my CPU? (AMD Sempron 2800+)
my mobo is EPoX 8NPA SLI Socket 754 PCIe SLI

i'm quite new to OC world, but from what i've read about my Sempron 2800+,the multiplier is locked.. but what about the HTT,voltage frequency,etc,can i modify it to get better speed??

P/S: default bus clock 200Mhz, default voltage 1.5V

now i've tried increase the 200mhz to 250mhz, volate 1.5V to 1.8V..
i check the processor speed increased from 1.6ghz to 2ghz...
is it safe to go up more?

also, could i mess with the 100mhz pcie speed upwards? does it make any difference with my 7300GT speed?

Cant go far with S754 Sempron, the wall is about 2.5Ghz on stock cooling. But i settle for something much less for everyday use.

the X2 is cooled by ??
my toledo can be at 1.5V 60C cooled by Artic Cooling freezer only

so i could increase it to 2.5ghz without problem then?

freezer64, d temp is refering to temp shown by coretemp.

sempron 2800+ 1600MHz with 8X multiplier
to get 2500MHz you need to lower the FSB:DRAM divider and HTT multiplier because it will go above 300MHz
since it's a s754 + nF4 why not play with the memory controller
well , you did OC but do you know how much was it improved ?
use benchmark software like SUPERPI , 3DMARKs , etc .
know your stock speed performance , set a target , push up to your target , check stability , fine tune , stability , fine tune , stability . then have FUN !

omg...i actually used my BIOS to overclock...and i only raised my mhz to 230 and 10x multiplier previously was 200mhz x10....guess what...both my rams... burn! omg....stress like gila wei...can someone help me out here...lucky kingston got lifetime warranty
