guys..sorry for noob question here...
just wanna know something for sure...
Herm.. we all saw the amd64 3000+ can oc up till 2.8 ghz rite? they have a high fsb (e.g 300) and a lower rams (e.g ddr450 max) ... does this mean they'll have to use the divider? (i guess they use the divider for stability). Will it effect the performance comparing if settling to 1:1 ?Also, how to start oc? begin from cpu? rams? - I'll jus need a short ans from this..will google for extra info on it...
thanks guys ^^
yeah, sometimes when our system RAM can't go with 1:1, then we can use divider to limit our system RAM, our system RAM shouldnt go any higher than CPU FSB, it'll become nightmare

, it's not for stability, it just because some RAM modules can't do 1:1...mine here 1:1 at DDR640 without problem...
start OC? increase your CPU FSB from stock (200MHz) to say 5Mhz increment, stress test it...success? go ahead, increase it with small increment...

(this is just basic - mine, i'll go for big increment

)
