PM-5004 only selling for rm899 in Desa HT in Lowyat, may give a try there. They are clearing old stocks currently.
But don't ask me is it cheap or not tongue.gif

Damn, not even Ken Ishiwata can convince me to buy the Ki-Pearl some 3 years ago and instead got myself the KI-Pearl Lite.

Now, you want someone to dump insurmountable amounts of money into their reference models. If you have that, you must at least also have the SA-14 and the NA-11S1 together already which means the system would have blown past 40k easily.

But, seriously. I if i had that amounts of money or more. I would not be looking at Marantz anymore although i do like their stuff very much.

Ken Ishiwata FTW! rclxms.gif

I think there are better options out there for that much of money. I have a die hard marantz friend who have moved on to some american local brand.

I dun dare to say i am die hard fan la. But my first Marantz was a PM and CD-53.

Even then, i cant get to grips on laying rm9k for a ki pearl

Even I am loyal to Marantz with currently having 3x amp + 1x NA, I am not convince in Marantz with high end stuff.

IMO, Marantz is great value for entry level. Example: PM600x with no competitors (not even near). And high value for PM8005 as well, beating many more expensive brand.

But on high end, I think it is another class of games.

Just my personal thought...  biggrin.gif
