i want to buy the macbook from their online store. the thing is i can't use my home address (i'm working, no one at home) or my office address (HR don't allow, item will send back to sender) so i want to use my friend's office address.

i heard apple send using DHL. will the description of my item appear on my package? will people know it's an apple product? i scared later the receptionist at my friend's office or someone there will steal my item.

p/s i'm buying from the online store because i want to use my student discount

description no, but the sender's address (apple SEA) will be visible. but judging from the box size they'll know its a laptop already

Ok here's what will happen. Apple store will either use DHL or UPS to sent the items.

What you can do is to make sure your parcel reach you, wait until the item to be shipped ( you can track it down using apple website). Once you identified the courier service, call them up and tell them that the person upon receiving the parcel should and must be you.

In that way, upon delivery, the courier guy will actually looking or asking for you. And you need to sign the delivery receipt.

How long usually it takes to arrive if order online?

If the items is available to ship, it will reach you within 3 days

Yeah, another way is to call the courier and collect the item at their office.

with so many telcos and apple resellers in klang valley not having type iphone 6 specs people want, i decided to order online.


took less than 3 weeks for the iphone 6+ 128 to reach me......reasonable time as year-end holidays so one has to expect some delays.


phone arrived properly packed, sealed and phone was in pristine condition.

i just bought macbook air order from online store. Using education discount also. The box didn't show any Apple longer, it just a brown box... Mine is customized pos from China

Since you cant get it delivered to your Office or your home, just pick it up at the couriers office.

That would be the best option

I received mine yesterday rmbp.....took 3 days to arrive with brown box...

the brown box is actually to protect the apple box....the point is as long as you get the items safely
