Hi guys..
I just got my 1st mech keyboard, Filco TKL Blue switch over the weekend (Yay!)
Anyway, how do you type on this keyboard anyway?
Do you guys bottomed out the key or simply until the click sound?
I have a cherry mx blue and cherry mx brown side by side and i type at 120wpm.I just got my 1st mech keyboard, Filco TKL Blue switch over the weekend (Yay!)

Cherry mx blue I bottom out because the force needed to activate the key is so high and once i activate pass the actuation point it's gonna bottom out. No matter how much i try i couldn't prevent it from bottoming out. Unless of course i type at 30wpm but i'm not gonna do that so i just bottom out.
Cherry mx browns I don't bottom out. I just type pass actuation. Cherry mx browns have noticeable lower force to actuate pass the bump compared to blues so i can prevent bottoming out.
Difference in bottoming / not bottoming out. When i bottom out on blues, i get wrist fatigue over a period of continuous typing like for about 5 minutes. When i don't bottom out on browns, i get much much longer typing period continuously.
So if you can prevent yourself from bottoming out on blues and not hinder your normal wpm, I'd suggest trying to do so if you want to avoid the fatigue from bottoming out. But of course thats just my opinion.
