Finally got my first mkb keyboard. Ducky g2pro mx black with abs keycaps at 199 only.

I find it better than getting the version with pbt dye sub which is around 409. I could spend 210 to get the keycaps I want instead now. Anyone selling keycaps here?

Btw, Mx black seems a little hard to press, maybe compared to my lenovo laptop keyboard which is very light and I'm kinda used to typing on this laptop keyboard for 3 years. So it might need some time to get used to typing on a harder and deeper accentuation point.

Also, one question i have in mind is what are the korean springs that everyone is talking about for mx black and vintage mx black? From what i know, vintage black are smoother because of the difference in materials of the plastic used. but what about the springs? isnt mx black advertised at 60g force? then does the 62g/65g make it smoother or stiffer? If I were to change the springs in the board, how much are the springs??

but then i'm not getting another keyboard and it feels like a waste getting the extra 20-30 keycaps which i will never use. :/

anyway, i didn't check at the shop yesterday but i notice that there's some rust on the usb connection and some of the letters on the keycaps are stained... :/

Guess that's what you get for a cheap EOL keyboard.. think they're just getting rid of their remaining stock.. :/

Hi guys, I'm new to MKB. I'm wondering is there mkb that don't have backlighting? I'm looking for one which have blue switch since I'll using it more on typing than gaming, something that is not too flashy lol. Of course it need to be affordable too since it will be my first mkb. Any recommendations?

Guys, anyone interested in getting gateron switches from the group buy from geekhack??

I will probably be buying ,but before I buy, would like to ask if anyone else are interested in getting them, the switches are cheap,but the problem is the shipping fee which cost about 10usd. While the switches cost only 16 USD for 100switch.

Let me know by today before 5pm if you want to chip in and buy together.

Didn't know much about switches and haven't bought a keyboard yet. After I got my keyboard then I got interested and started looking deeper.
Want to try out how does a smooth linear switch comparable to vintage black feels.

Btw the geekhack group buy cost about rm100 for 100 switches.
