Specifications

Connector: Single gold-plated USB
Anti-ghosting: True NKRO (6KRO switch included)
Switches: Fully mechanical Cherry MX type
Switch lifecycle: 50-million keystrokes
Backlit: Individually-backlit (orange) keys with 4-level settings
Cable: Braided fiber 1.8m
Key cap material: Tough ABS
Media keys: Volume control, play/pause, previous track and next track
Macro keys: Up to 21 customizable keys (13 dedicated macro keys + 8 switchable macro/function (F1-F8) keys)
Special features:
- On-the-fly macro recording
- Dual modes: plug-and-play hardware mode and software mode
- Gaming mode (disables Windows® key); Macro mode (reassigns F1-F8 as macro keys)

basically it has features you would associate with a gaming keyboard (as in the extras that are more specific to gaming usage). And also interestingly a switch for either NKRO or 6KRO hmm.gif

and another neat gaming feature was the macro record button. what a neat way to create a macro thumbup.gif

also it's design is pretty unique as it's got notched leds at the top to display the on/off state of it's extra features. also it's not simply a rectangular shape and it's got some other shapes to it, though i wonder how a leather palm rest would work with that bump protruding outward from the keyboard below doh.gif hm.

there is an insanely good further review of Logitechs Romerg mechanical switches here

i'm not surprised logitech decided to go where the market led which was a renewal into mkbs since it's resurgence. but what surprised me was they went even further by developing their own switches rather than be dependent on Cherry corp mx switches nod.gif

Indeed a good review on the romer-G switch. thumbup.gif
Just wondering how the switch feel compared to conventional mechanical switches.  nod.gif
Thanks for sharing.

looks good but my concern is the stem.

meaning my old vintage cherry corp double shots and dye subs probably won't be romer g compatible sad.gif

albeit it does feel slightly loose on my ducky, but still usable cause it has a cherry stem. but on romer g i'm doubting it would work.

I had someone modify a keycap for me before by relocating the stem positioning to work on a modern ducky keyboard layout for the caps lock key. It didn't feel quite right (sturdy). So even a patch work job like that for a full set seems a bit .... uh..... big of a hassle xd biggrin.gif
