My amp drives my K701 very nicely.. really satisfied

Usually people use desktop amps to power K701..
most of the time portable amps not enough juice to power them. Of course, there are exceptions, but i still think desktop amps are the best to power them adequately. |

What's this tuning of the driver and element you speak of? How do I go about doing it and what effect does it bring?
I was thinking of recabling my AKG with a canare starquad, but never knew about this tuning-of-driver thing. Could you elaborate please? I'm really interested. |
