Hi, I am a new owner of a pair of akgk702's wanna ask the sensei-sensei here bout the fiio e7 and e9 combo powering it.

The rated maximum input power at the back of the akg box says 200mW, but the fiio e9 outputs at 1W. I wonder if it will damage the akg k702 long term =.="

As far as i know, A1 is amp oni and D1 has dac and vacumn tube / solid state combo amp, but the vacumn tube section is only connected to the line out section of the amp, so if using D1 alone only can use the ss part of the amp, if wanna use the vacumn tube, nid to connect to another amp (A1 kut haha).

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Is the D1 + A1 combo much better than the E7 + E9 combo ? I kinda regretting abit of my purchase since liao =.="

oh my e9 just came to pair wif my preexisting e7 and k702..... the presence it gains is wonderful. xD

I noticed if i plug in my tf10 in the e9 6.5mm out, i find the bass muddied and boomy with the highs attenuated, but with the k702 there is no such problem. Anyone can explain ? Thanks

oo just saja wanna test haha. The 3.5 one oso kinda blur eh the sound =.=" too much power can fry the tf10 or not ? haha

Anyone knows which amp to pair wif k702 ? I running it with e7 + e9 now. Yuheng said the refinement not there in e9 and recommended the slee solo. I was like "wtf" at the price =.="

Hmm, last I asked at jaben, it was round rm1800 but they havent discounted yet. I bought at ebay india through global shipping from the states bout rm1300.

@Lennox Kinda geli the slee, bout 3x the price of a k702 haha. but really nid something to bring out the bass in the 702 =.="
