Hello. I have a question regarding AKG Q460, is there any chance that a fake or counterfeit AKG Q460 appear in the market? My brother is in Taiwan now and saw a Q460 appear in a local gadget store. Price after converted is around rm300 more or less. According to him, the product packaging looks the same as the original one so does product. But he didn't really check it in detail and don't know how to distinguish it.

So many question is, is it okay to buy the headset consider the price is too good to be true =_=? And also is there any characteristic for the product Q460? I heard a lot fake K450 but isn't sure about Q460...

noobandroid: Thanks for the reply! It's not at night market. But they sell the device in a gadget store. Along with other branded earphones. I really don't know. It sounds genuine, but i also heard there are handful of fake AKG models in the market. I feel like asking my brother to make the purchase Dilemma =_=

Edit: He tested the headphone and the sound quality almost like what the forumers described in lowyat and Headfi.org.

E1- AKG, like speedy and Rock corner? I'll look further for details in forum. Think i will hold my purchase.. Do u have any idea where i can test a genuine AKG Q460? I heard good and bad things about this model. But i just want to try it myself... Afterall everyone's listening is very subjective >.<
