how weak is weak now? u want strong u got beyer la..but to me my k701 is just thumpy enough to get the mood swinging

it hits deep, no doubt. But it just ain't as impact as the Grado. Maybe i'm asking too much...

IMHO, the k701 on my head with the amp on my table was plugged to an RS1 before. The RS1 has the impact, but it was like..example, 5V for 0.1ms while the k701 has 4.5V for 0.4ms. (exaggerated values maybe).

RS1 is dem fast, but in reality, no snares nor drums can hit that fast, real drums hit abit longer than that, but its no doubt FUN! but stronger, same concept as pulse, because its short it has more impact.

RS1 K701, about the same level of BASS if not the same, just the type of bass different.

Hmm if you want to describe the bass on both cans with voltage and duration, i would rate it as 5V, 0.1ms for the SR80 whereas 2V, 0.5ms for the K701. Figures are just estimates, i'll reconfirm this after my K701 turns 500 hours.

SR80 is 5v 0.1ms? Then my MS2i is 10v 0.05ms.

Bah, kids never know how to admire the beauty of K701

今天理发，发型师傅说我头顶被压得发根都难以打理了，说要恢复正常状态至少要10天半月。

所以我提醒想入K701的烧友注意了：K701会破会你的发型，爱美人士注意了，特别是白领阶层。


当然ATH铁三角大耳机也压头发，不过那2个猫耳朵，破会的不是头顶中间的发质，而是中间2侧，不会把头顶搞成中间分缝，对于习惯中分发型的人可以忽略701给你带来的影响。

我决定让701下岗一段时间以观后效

added the Tamron 17-50mm to my inventory....anyway, I decided not to sell it since the phone has dropped significantly in price. And since yeah4.1s helped me by paying a portion of the amp, I can manage to get what I need now without liquidating anything

lolz Alamaklor = opposite of me. Canon 300D kit + BG-E1 vertical grip (RM2300), EF 50mm f1.8 II (RM350), EF 135mm f2.8 Softfocus (RM1200), EF 70-200mm f4.0 L USM (RM2800), Manfrotto monopod RM300. Total expenses excluding storage cards and Lowepro bag is already almost RM7000

And compare my investment on my audio setup which is less than RM2000, audiophile is really nothing

was bored again..so was listening to my SR60 on my setup..reminiscence of the RS1 sound signature is there and slowly a sign of regret befell me..shud i haf taken the RS1/GS1000 route instead...and i switched to my K701 and HELL NO! (but if i ha fmoney to spare..i mean lots of them, im thinking of a GS1000 and a K1000 combo...).

After sum time on the K701, u kinda forgot how less nicer sounds are on the lesser setup
