SR60..no impact..just bloated bass, sumwat deep but just a toe in the water kind of deep. however, its EXCITING like kelisa said, because its freaking cheap and can be driven so nicely withouy any usage of an amp, so i can minus the amp from my equation of MD-SP+SR60="Excellent Portable Sounds". SR60 could not be a serious listening thing..it has too much weaknesses tat i dun care to list. Sorry guys..but at its price and size, and mobility, its a big score for me!

Haha..maybe la..but as sweet as RS1 on certain instrumental rock guitar track, i wouldnt turn it higher..the k701..mcm tidak kuat..but volume quite high liao..or maybe placebo..or maybe im becoming deaf (but my SR60 is driven at a very low volume) or maybe k701 jus need higher volume due to being harder to drive? Pls dun let me be the next coobra tongue.gif

The soundstage is too wide that some of the instrument is placed too distantly? tongue.gif So you cant hear them from far rclxm9.gif
You just feel it's not enough juice from the music in low volume la. cool.gif I also listen loud.

...mawhahahaha!..belum try tongue.gif but i dun think it can drive it to even a satisfactory level of hearing witout major clipping and super pronto distortion. EMU output stages are puny man, it was meant to be like that..forgot the gain xd.

so ijan, how was the K701 compared with RS-1? Will the AKG sounds "dead, sterile, and lifeless" claimed by some headfiers? huh.gif
