HI is me again...... need to ask a bit thing how come AKG k450 the max input power so low while ATH Product so high around 1000mw. I scare when i use mixer preamp to boost it , it will bye bye lol ...... K450 is it suitable for home use and monitoring or not ...... cause im looking 1 for my self  ..... Got my K701 2 weeks ago..  being burnt-in  still (24hrs X 14)..... planning to continue until 1000 hrs.

Out of the box...  sounded like any RM100 hp....

But now..  it already transformed to another beast..even driven with Cmoy...  but not to ear-bleeding volume level...  otherwise... need to get more powerful amp...   

Indeed, K701..  very lazy and thirsty.... it deserves very good amp to sing... i'm very glad so far....

Maybe someone have idea of which amp to recommend... i read about  C2C, PH100, WA6,Heed Canamp...etc...

since this got bumped. might as well report in. Got my K702 2 weeks ago. sounding too bright at times when my ears are sleepy (With Travagans White DAC/AMP)

anybody using AKG K44? i need some feedback for u guys..

i love to use full volume while listening to musics, but my current headphones Phillips SHP2000 did well. but the thing is, there is sound leakage meaning nearby people can hear as well. it seems like i use speakers on very low volume. does akg k44 seals the inside sound to outside?

all full volume; player and soundcard driver when nobody in my house, but seldomly since there always people around me..

i got offered for AKG K44, Behringer HPS3000, and Legacy PH150. the price are almost the same. $4*. but legacy i cant find many review on it, haishh.. 

Is the pad for the k701 replaceble??

is AKG K518 LE really that uncomfortable? anyone can advice? and are the earpads replacable? if yes how much does it cost?

Sunway pyramid machines doesnt have it?

usually studio and in door auditorium.. both have halls acoustics done right and padded... =)

source usually is via a mixer.. for now its from mic to mixer..from mixer to headphones as monitor lor...sometimes will use for music also.. looking for something around RM250 i think

Planning to get another headphone... I was eyeing on the AKG K702 or the K701, I was wondering which one is better for pairing with iPod/Zune HD and MB White~ Which one needs amping? Also which one is better in term of bass, soundstage and clarity?

I auditioned K701 for 15 minutes with travagans white. and own K702. Didnt notice much difference actually, but according to chinese forums, K702 got fuller bass. and, HELL NO. do not try these 2 naked (without amp) with any portable device. they will sound worse than a CX300 lol. heck, I've heard ppl said even secret amp cannot drive half the power of it. I feel travagans white (a semi-desktop amp with direct ac input) also can't really drive it properly, still quite harsh with some tracks, not to mentioned other battery powered amps.

me newbie headphile, scare will mislead ppl with my bad engrish and inability to describe/compare them to other phones
