Login and choose last option "Print REP". You get the same thing as the one given during you completed the PR formality (at least for mine)
There's no entry permit, only re-entry permit right? This post has been edited by toughnut: Jan 9 2015, 01:59 PM |

QUOTE(half_lif3 @ Apr 7 2015, 12:59 PM) How about 7 years experience systems enginner earning about rm5.5k 7 years experience, earning rm5.5k. you're lowballed...and Singapore is offering SGD3.5k? Worth to relocate to Singapore? now offered sgd3.5k, you're lowballed yet again. demand for higher based on skill/experience, forget about past pay history. even fresh grad can scored sgd3.5k for engineering firm. QUOTE(chow_shasha @ May 8 2015, 04:04 PM) My best thought up to now is to commute daily for the 1st year, while cashing out from everything i own in KL. Apply for PR. And 2nd year try to buy a decent place in SG then move the whole family. 1. "cashing out from everything i own in KL"Any thoughts? - conversion rate ~2.70 2. "Apply for PR" - success rate of PR application is down the drain at the moment. And only work for 1 year and apply PR? Unless you're big earner, forget about it. Personally heard too many failure with application among mid range earners ($60-100k p.a., PHD holder, couple with childs, etc) 3. "2nd year try to buy a decent place in SG then move the whole family" - only can buy private condo as HDB only for sprean or couple with PR more than 3 years minimum. For example, 1 room condo in decent area ie CBD is around 800-900k (~1400psf). |

QUOTE(Fiona Chin @ Jul 28 2015, 04:06 PM) Best rate is to do it by cash, risk of getting mug or stolen. If you bring in RM cash you need the James Bond bag like those in God of Gambler. Remember to declare it when entering Singapore. Sadly that align with info I gathered so far. TT/bank draft lousy rates... Thanks Fiona jieConvenient way is to do it by TT or bank draft but lousy rate. For the riches. |

QUOTE(Jupiter Pirate @ Jul 29 2015, 09:30 AM) Hey everyone, I'm looking for some advice. Take the chance to prove your worth. If they valued you, increment/adjustment will come later.I'm working in IT as a programmer for just over a year now. I'm thinking about jumping to Singapore once I reach 2 years of experience. However, my friends have been pessimistic about this idea. They claim that unless I go there with 5 years of experience or I jump to a senior position, I will only be offered a fresh grad's salary of around S$2400. I understand that I cannot expect to be offered the same salary as a Singaporean with 2 years of programming experience, but I find it really hard to believe that they will only be willing to pay me the same salary as someone with 0 experience. Any advice? My salary was RM2800 when I started, now I'm earning around RM3400. Expecting to get around S$3000 when I go to Singapore. Is this too much? Thanks. |
