5 years working experience as Piping Engineer can ask for how much pay in Singapore? 

Lucky me then, live n work in spore, earn usd and always outstation in KL...still can taste nasi lemak, teh tarik etc..plus accommodation n transport provided..

Another one here, based in SG, alternate week in SG and MY. When in MY I work at my home. Kind of tired flying every week though. Not lucky, worked hard to get into this position. Lower pay than my peers but more time with family so its ok.

how do u guys pay those loan when u work at SG?

i have house loan and some credit card need to do payment.
but finds it very troublesome to go back malaysia jb or kl every month to desposit money and pay zzzzz

for example:
i cannot pay at maybank singapore then it will transfer as maybank malaysia right?
advance payment cannot la bro..mine is house loan more.
card only abit...i think few hundred only...(RM)

Ya those rich butt bankers. Allowance alone few thousands  already more than people's pay. Should hang them out to dry in marina bay for hogging all the money. Not like us small people everyday worried about over budget.

Hi fellows. Anyone comutes daily from JB to SG for work? Any advice on time, mode, cost, duration, convenience and stress levels?

Have an offer on the table but family to big to move to SG which means i need a SGD3k+ per month unit to rent. Kind education also a problem for my eldest who is in the midst of secondary school so he might not be able to cope mid way thru.

My best thought up to now is to commute daily for the 1st year, while cashing out from everything i own in KL. Apply for PR. And 2nd year try to buy a decent place in SG then move the whole family.

Any thoughts?

For Network Engineering line huge MNC, the business is usually Telco (singtel, BT, AT&T, etc) or SI (D-Data, IBM, etc).
Never seen other that those which will pay 6-7k SGD for L2 role.....

Geylang is a good place, lots of food and very near town. So, it's not really surprising that rental is comparable to town.

Used to be different few years back, Singaporeans were more tolerable with us as we speak similar language and share the same culture.
Malaysians used to be preferred over other nationals but this is no longer the case; qualification and experience being equal.
